As far as Shi Feng knew, the exit from the second stage of the entry trial should have been a single one.
The golden teleportation magic circle that had suddenly appeared was far more powerful than the one in the center of the plaza — the difference was immediately obvious from the density of the magic energy alone.
"Leader, should we head over there?" Everyone instinctively turned to Shi Feng.
They had already watched Wan Shi Wushuang's group use the teleportation magic circle at the center of the plaza to leave. Now another one had appeared, and since this was everyone's first time here, nobody could judge whether it was a trap.
"Could this be a special reward for the first kill?" The more Shi Feng considered it, the more likely it seemed.
In his previous life, he had also defeated the King of Corrosion Serutiban, but nothing like this had happened. The only difference was that in this life, it was the first kill of the King of Corrosion Serutiban.
As for it being a trap, that was unlikely.
After all, they had defeated the stage boss. The only logical explanation for another teleportation magic circle appearing now would be a reward — if it were a trap, that would be far too cruel.
"Let's all go take a look," Shi Feng decided in the end.
Under Shi Feng's command, everyone walked toward the golden teleportation magic circle. The Corrosion Beasts and the Corrosion Beast King along the way didn't dare come anywhere near, allowing the group to enter the golden magic circle without any trouble.
The instant he stepped in, Shi Feng felt a clarity of mind unlike anything he had ever experienced, and a new status called "Refreshed Spirit" appeared in his status bar.
Additionally, a system notification sounded in his ear.
[System: Player has discovered the Titan Library teleportation magic circle.]
"As expected — a first kill reward." Hearing the system notification, Shi Feng was ecstatic.
Titan Sacred City had two major benefits. One was the Titan Workshop, which life-skill players used to improve their abilities. The other was the Titan Library, which every player wanted to enter.
Normally, to enter the Titan Library, one first had to reach the third stage and take the road leading to the library. That road was far more difficult than entering the Sacred City itself, so most people, in order to secure their spot in the city, would never choose to go to the library first. He hadn't expected that this teleportation magic circle could send them there directly.
Shi Feng then walked to the center of the teleportation magic circle and activated it.
In an instant, the group transformed into a streak of golden light and vanished from the plaza. After they disappeared, the golden teleportation magic circle also faded away completely, and the plaza returned to its former calm.
The third stage of the entry trial was the Cliff Corridor. Narrow paths stretched everywhere, barely wide enough for three people to walk abreast, while on both sides of each path lay a bottomless abyss. If anyone fell, there was no way to even revive — they would be eliminated on the spot.
Beyond these dangerous paths, a massive number of bat monsters also filled the air, making it nearly impossible for players to walk safely. One careless moment — a single sonic impact — and they could be knocked into the bottomless abyss.
Wan Shi Wushuang's team had barely entered before they were immediately plunged into a desperate battle.
The bat monsters here were all at least special elites, many were leader-level, and there were even 45 Lord-level Bat Kings. Any player caught by a Bat King would be thrown straight into the bottomless abyss. In terms of pure difficulty, these were far harder to deal with than the Corrosion Beasts in the plaza.
The Corrosion Beasts at least gave players some opportunities, but these bat monsters offered none whatsoever — they simply eliminated players outright.
