"Genius One Second Remember 'Love go to small novel network', providing you with wonderful novel reading."
"How can it be this fast?"
The hall seemed to explode. Every single person couldn't believe what they were seeing.
The first-floor clear record of the Battle Tower hadn't been broken in ages.
Most people needed several times the record just to deal with the first floor's monsters. Even the three prodigies of the Celestial Mechanism Pavilion were still a considerable distance from the clear record, yet Shi Feng had shattered it effortlessly.
37 minutes and 24 seconds!
Everyone stared at the Battle Tower's new record, filled with curiosity about what must have happened inside to clear it so quickly.
"Sister Wen Hua, who exactly is this person?" Leng Qiu asked, gazing at the new record.
The Battle Tower's record hadn't been broken in years. Even if someone could do it, it certainly wouldn't be a young person. Yet a newcomer from an outside guild had just shaved off more than ten minutes. Normally he'd feel he'd made great progress if he improved by ten or so seconds. Now this record had been smashed by such a margin — the difference was staggering.
"You should have actually seen him before," Wen Hua said with a smile.
"I've seen him?" Leng Qiu was startled, unable to recall where he had met Shi Feng.
"He is Ye Feng — the peak Swordsman who defeated the Wolf King of the War Wolf Guild." Wen Hua's voice carried a strong fighting spirit. Before, watching Ye Feng's battle footage, she had merely wanted to fight him. Now what she wanted was to surpass him. But first she had to defeat one of the Eight Sword Masters, the Gale Sword Master.
"He's Ye Feng?" Leng Qiu stared at Shi Feng's impossibly young appearance, his jaw dropping.
He had originally assumed that even though Ye Feng looked young, he was probably twenty-five or twenty-six. Now it seemed he was only twenty-one or twenty-two, barely older than Wen Hua. And he had already defeated the legendary North Star Sky Wolf. True, it had been mainly thanks to equipment and skill advantages, but a win was still a win.
"Sister Wen Hua, that's so not fair. Since you knew he was that Ye Feng, you should have told me. I almost missed a golden opportunity to spectate," Leng Qiu complained lightly, though inside he was thrilled. Spending just 300 points to watch — that kind of opportunity was impossible to find even with a lantern.
"Everyone has their own chances. If you miss one, it's just bad luck. Remember back when the Lion of Radiance fought the Asura Squad? Who would have thought that battle would become one of the Dark Arena's all-time classic matches?" Wen Hua shook her head with a sigh. "Anyway, enough talk. Let's focus on watching. The fights ahead are going to be tough."
While Wen Hua and Leng Qiu were talking, quite a few members of the Celestial Mechanism Pavilion in the hall gritted their teeth and decided to spend 300 points to watch Shi Feng's battle.
Anyone who could break the first floor's record had to be something special.
In just a short while, a full eleven people in the hall chose to watch, instantly boosting Shi Feng's point income to 3,500 points — enough to contact Domain Control experts for nearly two days.
……
Battle Tower, second floor. The moment Shi Feng appeared, he found himself in a dark lair. Visibility was extremely low — he could see at most about ten yards in every direction. A rustling sound crept through the air, deeply unsettling.
"There are only twenty monsters on the second floor, but with this near-total darkness, dodging their attacks is incredibly difficult. It took me many attempts and practice runs before I got used to the environment here," Leng Qiu said with a slight smile as he watched the motionless Shi Feng.
He wasn't inside the battle arena, but his viewpoint wasn't far from Shi Feng, and the observation perspective was crystal clear — the viewing distance was two or three times greater than what the players inside the arena had.
