"Are you telling the truth?" Yuan Tiexin's expression showed some emotion.
Solidified Magic Equipment was a relatively new and incredibly rare item. It allowed players to fight for extended periods without having to spend hours on tedious travel and repairs.
Bronze-rank mounts were something every major guild had been trying to obtain.
However, Bronze-rank mounts were extremely difficult to get, and even when guild members reached level forty, the vast majority of experts in the guild could only use ordinary mounts. Although a Bronze-rank mount wasn't much faster than an ordinary one, it could assist players in combat and significantly boost their fighting ability in the wild.
As for guild mounts...
Even the Stable Blueprint alone was enough to drive super-guilds to despair. Right now, they couldn't even get a whiff of one, let alone tame any mounts.
The reason Tianji Pavilion was so interested in Zero Wing was largely because of the guild mounts.
Once mainstream players hit level forty, Zero Wing would have an enormous advantage. And if they added Tianji Pavilion's resources on top of that, Zero Wing could quickly expand into several neighboring countries and become a force on par with a top-tier guild. Otherwise, Tianji Pavilion would never have offered such a steep price.
"Of course. It all depends on whether Tianji Pavilion is interested?" Shi Feng said with a smile.
"I really did underestimate your Zero Wing guild. I didn't expect you to have such reserves." Yuan Tiexin scratched his forehead. If it were any other item being traded, Tianji Pavilion would have rejected it outright with zero room for negotiation. But solidified magic equipment and Bronze-rank mounts — now those actually piqued the pavilion's interest. "Still, I need to contact the guild leader first."
"Go ahead." Shi Feng understood that Yuan Tiexin didn't have the authority to make the call.
Yuan Tiexin left the reception room alone and returned a little over ten minutes later. His previously hesitant gaze had become resolute.
"I've just spoken with the guild leader. This deal can be discussed. Tianji Pavilion can offer five training slots, but you must provide one hundred Bronze-rank mounts and ten thousand pieces of solidified magic equipment. That part is non-negotiable," Yuan Tiexin said firmly.
"You're being a bit outrageous. It's not like you can guarantee all five will become Domain experts." Shi Feng furrowed his brow slightly. Simulated training slots were certainly valuable and consumed a considerable amount of high-grade energy, but they weren't worth this much.
At market price, a single Bronze-rank mount was roughly three hundred gold coins, though there was no actual market — no one would really sell one. If someone did put one up for sale, people might even pay five hundred gold. After all, they were far too rare now, their scarcity on par with Epic-grade items.
One hundred Bronze-rank mounts — that was fifty thousand gold coins!
Ten thousand pieces of solidified magic equipment at current market prices would run about one hundred thousand gold coins. Combined, that came to a total of one hundred and fifty thousand gold!
One hundred and fifty thousand gold was an astronomical sum for a first-rate guild. Even for an extraordinary power like Tianji Pavilion, it was an enormous amount. Who knew how long it would take to raise that kind of capital.
And yet, even that one hundred and fifty thousand gold wouldn't be nearly enough to buy that many mounts and pieces of solidified magic equipment. And in exchange, they were only offering five training slots.
This was essentially using Zero Wing's resources to fund training for all of Tianji Pavilion's personnel.
"Training slots are scarce — there are only so many each year, and even within the guild there's fierce competition for them. The fact that the guild leader is willing to sell them externally is already a surprise to me," Yuan Tiexin said, spreading his hands to show that this was not his decision.
