The basic construction of Stone Forest Town was now complete.
An eight-story-tall building stood at the very center of the entire town, bearing the six-winged emblem of the Zero Wing Guild — perfectly visible even from a great distance.
This massive, fortress-like structure was the new Zero Wing headquarters.
The guild headquarters back in White River City was completely outclassed by this one.
Aside from the Zero Wing Guild headquarters, the second most eye-catching building was a seven-story commercial structure — the storefront Shi Feng had prepared for the Torch Fire Trading Company. Just constructing this store had cost a full 1,500 gold in materials. Fortunately, it was a town under his own control; otherwise, the land costs alone would have bankrupted Zero Wing.
Beyond these two prominent buildings, there were quite a few two-story structures available for player use.
If it weren't for running out of funds, Shi Feng would have loved to turn every one of these two-story buildings into five-story towers. These locations were prime real estate in Stone Forest Town — the taller the building, the higher the rental price — and all he needed to pay was the material cost.
The main street he had designed led toward the Stone Claw Mountains. Any player passing through the town on their way to the Stone Claw Mountains would have to use this main street, so foot traffic would be enormous — there'd be no shortage of buyers.
Additionally, the most important facilities for players — the inn and the blacksmith's forge — had been established. But with limited funds, both the inn and the forge were rather ordinary, and would need to be renovated later.
When Gloomy Smile saw all of this, her eyes lit up with gold.
Though she didn't participate in combat, her sources were excellent, and she had long known that Zero Wing had taken control of Stone Forest Town. Still, she hadn't expected that this so-called "control" would be this extravagant.
The two-star Torch Fire Trading Company in White River City was only five stories tall. This one was seven, and with a much larger floor area. Not only could it accommodate far more crafting-class players, but warehouse storage was no longer a worry.
The Torch Fire Trading Company had been developing rapidly. Although they had branches in many major cities, the materials they collected simply had nowhere to go — because Shi Feng kept demanding stockpiles of this and that, the trading company's warehouses were always stuffed to capacity, and they'd even had to rent space at the bank. With a Torch Fire Trading Company this size, a good portion of their storage problems would be solved.
Before long, Shi Feng led Gloomy Smile and the others into the new guild headquarters.
"Here are the blueprints for the magic teleportation array. Take a look — I hope you can get it built as soon as possible," Shi Feng said, producing the blueprints.
Anyone could craft a magic teleportation array, but the process was far too cumbersome for a single person to handle easily. Skilled blacksmithing players had a much higher success rate when crafting one, which was exactly why Shi Feng had called Gloomy Smile and the others over.
"Magic teleportation array blueprints?" Everyone was stunned.
Though they weren't combat players, they understood just how valuable a magic teleportation array was.
Especially given their journey to Stone Forest Town.
The trip from White River City to Stone Forest Town had taken over ten hours. A single day in the Divine Realm was only forty-eight hours, and most players could only be online for twenty to thirty hours. Spending more than ten hours just traveling was enough to make anyone's blood boil — but they had no choice but to come. This was the leveling area for players past level thirty, and it housed regional dungeons like the Stone Claw Mountains.
With a magic teleportation array, everything would be simple.
All they needed was to build one magic teleportation array in Stone Forest Town, and players could teleport directly from the city — instantly saving over ten hours of travel. Getting to and from the Stone Claw Mountains would be a breeze.
