The Thunderwolf narrowed its eyes, immediately noticing Shi Feng and the others, then let out a low growl — a clear warning.
Although the magical beasts on the third floor wouldn't actively attack players, getting too close would trigger a warning, and ignoring that warning would provoke an attack.
"Ke Le, find an opening and pick up the aggro. Hei Zi, keep an eye on using Light's Guardian. Ziyan, focus on healing. Everyone else, seize the chance to use your Hunting Scrolls!" Shi Feng issued rapid commands as he watched the Thunderwolf slowly rise to its feet.
Capturing a level 50 Lord under normal circumstances was something they simply couldn't do.
But the Thunderwolf was somewhat special — there was a special method that could be used to capture it.
And the first condition for capturing a magical beast was reducing its health to exactly 10%. If it was even slightly above or below 10%, capture would be impossible, making the condition extremely harsh — far more troublesome than simply killing it.
Right now, Ke Le was level 30, equipped with a first-tier set and the Greenfire Holy Shield. But even so, tanking a level 50 Lord was out of the question.
Shi Feng pulled out the Book of Darkness and began summoning a demon.
"Come forth, demon!"
After completing the final incantation, the Demon Gate slowly opened, and out walked a humanoid demon covered in sharp thorns and black scales — a Blade Devil. This type of demon was purely attack-oriented, incapable of any magical support.
Blade Devil. Demon. Level 36. HP: 3,000,000.
"Not bad — a second-tier demon will do." Shi Feng looked over the Blade Devil with satisfaction.
Though it couldn't compare to the Thunderwolf in power, it was still a formidable ally, more than capable of keeping the Thunderwolf occupied for a good while.
"Everyone, support the Blade Devil in attacking the Thunderwolf. Be careful to dodge its lightning attacks." Shi Feng directed the Blade Devil to charge straight at the Thunderwolf.
The Blade Devil moved like a Berserker, executing a Shadow Rush. It materialized before the Thunderwolf like a phantom, and its sword-like arms came crashing down onto the beast's body.
-17,519 -16,749 Two five-digit damage numbers popped up above the Thunderwolf's head. Everyone was stunned.
"Such high attack power." Shi Feng was equally surprised. "This is a real jackpot."
A level 50 Lord was nothing like a Lord in the 30s. Its defense had been boosted beyond measure — even slightly higher than a normal level 35 Grand Lord. Only in his dual-burst state could Shi Feng deal ten thousand points of damage to such a creature, yet this Lord-rank Blade Devil could do it effortlessly. Its attack power absolutely surpassed that of a higher-tier Lord of the same level.
"ROAR!"
The Thunderwolf bellowed in fury and swiped its claws, instantly conjuring countless blue-green electric arcs. Its speed doubled in an instant. The Blade Devil couldn't even dodge or block before a claw strike sent its entire body flying over ten yards, slamming into the ground and carving out a massive crater. Its iron-hard scales were torn open with ease, leaving behind scorched claw marks.
The Blade Devil's HP dropped by 41,864 points in a single hit. The gap in their strength was immediately obvious.
"That attack is insane. If I didn't pop my survival ultimate, I'd be dead in one hit." Ke Le, standing not far away, swallowed hard. He no longer dared to underestimate the Thunderwolf.
This attack power was leagues beyond the level 35 Grand Lord Bluefire Raven King from the dungeon…
Reducing the Thunderwolf's HP to 10% was starting to seem like a complete joke.
"Ziyan, heal the Blade Devil. Everyone else, hit it with ranged attacks!" Shi Feng showed no surprise.
Level 50 was a watershed moment.
Because at level 50, players could advance to the second tier, monsters at that level were significantly stronger. And the Thunderwolf was a super-offensive magical beast — its attack power was naturally terrifying.
