Right from the start of the fight, Shi Feng activated the Ring of the Void, granting him immunity to all control effects.
Whether it was the first-tier female elementalist's ice wall or the first-tier ranger's frost arrows, Shi Feng deliberately dodged them all — his goal was to let the two first-tier Berserkers close in, saving him the trouble of chasing them down.
Shi Feng let out a low shout and unleashed Sword Qi in All Directions, a skill exclusive to his Hurricane set. It dealt 300% weapon damage to all enemies within a five-yard radius and knocked back every enemy within twelve yards while stunning them for one second.
"Not good!"
The silver-armored Berserker and the black-armored Berserker both sensed something was wrong. They hurriedly activated Parry, holding their greatsword and battle axe horizontally before them.
Boom!
Both of them felt as though they'd been hit by a truck. Their bodies were sent flying and slammed hard into the ground, their heads spinning with dizziness.
Before either could recover, Shi Feng took a single step forward — for him, twelve yards was nothing more than a single stride.
In the blink of an eye, Shi Feng materialized before the silver-armored Berserker, his slashing strike already descending. Both first-tier Berserkers were still stunned, completely unable to mount any defense against his attack. But at the very instant his slash was about to land, Shi Feng abruptly changed direction and thrust his sword behind him instead.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Three consecutive strikes.
Without anyone noticing, a first-tier Swordsman had appeared behind Shi Feng, launching a slash of his own. That was precisely why Shi Feng had switched targets at the last moment.
Swords clashed in a flash of light, and the first-tier Swordsman was sent hurtling backward. Three damage numbers — each over four hundred — popped up above his head in rapid succession.
"How can anyone have such terrifying strength? Is he some kind of humanoid boss monster?" The first-tier Swordsman flew a full six yards before barely managing to steady himself. His sword arm from the clash had gone completely numb, and he stared at Shi Feng in disbelief.
During that brief exchange, the silver-armored Berserker had roughly recovered. Seeing his Swordsman comrade swatted aside with a single blow, his heart lurched. He immediately unleashed Whirlwind Slash, hoping to drive Shi Feng away.
At the same time the silver-armored Berserker launched his attack, the first-tier female elementalist and the first-tier ranger in the distance both opened fire with covering shots.
No joke — one swing was enough to knock back a level-26 first-tier Swordsman. If that hit landed on a person, it would be a one-hit kill for sure.
Facing a barrage of attacks, and especially attacks from skilled players at that, if Shi Feng truly wanted to claim the silver-armored Berserker's life, he would very likely lose his own in the process.
With no other choice, Shi Feng dodged and veered toward the black-armored Berserker instead.
Seeing Shi Feng forced to retreat, the level-27 silver-armored Berserker couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief. "That was close… almost bought the farm."
If he hadn't been a master who had touched the threshold of Insight, and if his intuition weren't razor-sharp, he wouldn't have instinctively activated Parry the moment Shi Feng unleashed his burst of pressure — a skill that could negate a single frontal attack. Otherwise, he would have been a corpse under Shi Feng's blade from that very first strike, let alone the heart-stopping second attack.
The killing intent locked onto him, homing in on every opening — he had felt it with crystalline clarity even while stunned. Even if he hadn't been dazed, he wasn't confident he could have blocked that lightning-fast blow.
It was true that Berserkers were tanky with high HP, but his health pool was only a little over 5,300. With Shi Feng's horrifying attack power, even a plate-armor class would have been killed in one hit.
