Chapter 423: The End Cavern

"You're serious?"

The red-haired beauty couldn't help sizing up carefully, even activating her Observation skill.

Other than the fact that Shi Feng was level 22, she couldn't glean any information about his ID or his gear. He came across as somewhat mysterious.

Several of her companions turned to Shi Feng as well, hoping for a definite answer.

A single piece of Warfire gear going for ten gold coins was already far higher than what anyone else had offered. Never mind assembling a complete set—if they sold the whole Warfire set for 180 gold to Shi Feng, they'd be rolling in it.

"Of course. We can add each other as friends. Whenever you get a Warfire drop, just reach out to me," Shi Feng said with a smile.

He was joking on the inside, of course—that was the Warfire set. Buying it for 180 gold was nothing but profit.

Gold-grade sets could only drop from 20-man large-team dungeons, and only on Hell Difficulty at that. Only 100-man Hell Difficulty dungeons dropped Dark Gold-grade sets, but even then completing a full set was extraordinarily difficult.

That said, when it came to the Warfire set, Shi Feng could think of a few spots where farming it was viable.

It wasn't that the drop rates were necessarily higher there—it was simply that there were large numbers of war monkeys. Kill enough of them and Warfire pieces would naturally fall.

Shi Feng would have loved to go farm a few sets right now, but the locations he had in mind required a sufficiently powerful team. 's current five-hundred-man force wouldn't even come close; they'd need at least five hundred Tier 1 players.

For now, all he could do was mine in the inner area of White Mist Canyon.

"Great! I'm Lan Shuyun. If a Warfire piece drops, I'll definitely contact you." Lan Shuyun sent Shi Feng a friend request with a bright smile.

Shi Feng accepted it.

"Hei Yan? Got it—I'll remember." Lan Shuyun noted the new friend named Hei Yan in her list and nodded. "When the gear drops, I'll be sure to reach out to you first. Don't you dare refuse me then."

Shi Feng chuckled and headed toward the Narrow Pass, contacting Shuishui Qiangwei.

"Guild Leader, you're finally online! I have something really important to tell you," Shuishui Qiangwei said with a laugh.

"You mean all the foreign players flooding White Mist Canyon? I already know about that. Where are you right now? I didn't see you at the Narrow Pass. How's the team doing?" Shi Feng noticed there wasn't a single player left at the Narrow Pass and felt a twinge of worry.

"We're not sure where we are, honestly. We were farming in the Narrow Pass earlier, but while we were at it, more than ten Flame Guardians suddenly poured out from the inner area of White Mist Canyon. They're all level 28 Lord bosses, and their Flame Domain is devastating. Meanwhile, the outer area was crawling with Red-Eyed War Monkeys, so we had no choice but to push deeper into the canyon."

"Fortunately, our luck held. We retreated into a place called the End Cavern. The Flame Guardians are too big to fit inside, so they're just camping outside the entrance—and we can't get out either…"

"The End Cavern? Which cavern?" Shi Feng asked, surprised.

He was very familiar with White Mist Canyon, but he had never heard of a place called the End Cavern inside it.

"We have no idea. It doesn't even show up on the system map. But the cavern is incredibly deep with plenty of monsters inside. Luckily none of them are Lord bosses, so we can manage—for now," Shuishui Qiangwei explained. She didn't know their exact location either; at the time she'd been focused entirely on escaping and hadn't had a moment to think about where they were running.

"Add me to the party. Don't go any deeper—I'm heading over now." Shi Feng frowned slightly.

White Mist Canyon had no shortage of deadly dead ends. It was entirely possible that Shuishui Qiangwei and the others had stumbled into one.

In the Divine Realm, a true dead end was a death sentence for players—just like the Cold Water Pool Shi Feng had encountered before in the Source World Sword Domain. Without the right countermeasures, you were guaranteed to die.

After sending the party invitation, Shuishui Qiangwei couldn't help adding a warning: "Guild Leader, be careful. There are over ten Flame Guardians guarding the entrance."

"Understood," Shi Feng nodded.
