In the withered forest at the outskirts of White Mist Canyon.
Huo Wu and Fei Ying, who had been scouting around the team, were now sprinting toward One-Line Pass.
"Sister Huo Wu, the Guild Leader is too amazing — fighting the War Monkey Leader all by himself. That's a Level 25 Frenzied Leader," Fei Ying said, eyes full of anticipation. "I hope that War Monkey Leader can hold out a while longer. It'd be a shame if the Guild Leader takes it down before we even get there."
"Fei Ying, how can you joke around at a time like this? Sure, the Guild Leader is strong, but a Leader monster in a frenzy is no laughing matter. When we join in to assist, you'd better watch out for the War Monkey Leader's attacks. Get hit in the body, and it could be fatal," Huo Wu warned.
As for Shi Feng taking on a Level 25 Frenzied Leader alone, Huo Wu thought it was far too reckless. A battle like this left absolutely no room for error.
After Huo Wu successfully advanced to first-tier Assassin, she had wanted to test her own level, so she specifically asked guild members to find monsters for her to fight.
The first opponent was a Level 15 Special Elite, which she dispatched without much effort.
She then found a Level 16 Leader monster, wanting to push herself. Less than twenty seconds into the fight, she was in a sorry state, and ultimately had to use Vanish to escape.
So Huo Wu understood full well how powerful Leader monsters were — let alone a Level 25 one that was perpetually frenzied.
"Sister Huo Wu, I hear fighting up ahead. It should be right there!" Fei Ying exclaimed excitedly.
Countless people wanted to see Shura's Blade in combat. Some players were even offering high prices on the official website to buy unpublished battle footage of Shura's Blade, hoping to learn a thing or two from those recordings.
Fei Ying had watched combat videos no fewer than several hundred times and had benefited enormously from them.
But videos were only videos — they couldn't compare to seeing things firsthand.
However, Shi Feng's battles were incredibly fast. Even watching in person, Fei Ying could only catch so much. That was why Fei Ying also wanted to record the footage so he could study it at his leisure later on.
For this purpose, Fei Ying had specifically asked Huo Wu to activate holographic simulation mode for recording.
Before Fei Ying had access to a virtual reality cabin, he had looked down on them.
It was only 97% virtual fidelity — high-end VR headsets already offered 90%. How big a difference could it make?
It was obviously just a scam to rip people off with virtual reality cabins.
But once Fei Ying actually used one, he was utterly hooked.
A virtual reality cabin not only let you better unleash your own combat power, but it was also immensely helpful for learning combat in the Divine Realm. The holographic simulation recordings were vastly superior to flat video in every way.
Unfortunately, in the Zero Wing studio, there were only five virtual reality cabins total — one reserved for the Guild Leader, one for Huo Wu, and one for Hei Zi.
The remaining two were shared among the other core members on rotation...
Right now, Fei Ying wasn't using a virtual reality cabin, so he couldn't make holographic recordings. He could only beg Huo Wu to capture it, so that next time he used a cabin he could watch the footage properly.
Huo Wu didn't object, since she wanted to see it too. She could just make a copy for Fei Ying afterward.
When the two of them rushed to the battle site, they caught sight of Shi Feng vanishing in an instant — then reappearing right beside the War Monkey Leader, walking past him casually. Meanwhile, several sword scars appeared across the War Monkey Leader's body, blood spraying everywhere...
"What just happened?!"
An endless wave of shock surged through both Huo Wu and Fei Ying's hearts.
