"Gone?"
"What's going on?"
"Weren't they saying
The many free players and experts from various powers at Witches' Hill were utterly confused by the sudden disappearance of Zero Wing City, completely unable to understand how a guild city could simply vanish.
"It disappeared without a trace — could
"That can't be right, can it? It's a main city. Relocating a main city is no simple matter. I looked into it — even relocating a guild main city within a kingdom requires not only a High-Tier Town Relocation Token but also the kingdom's approval, because a guild main city involves territorial matters. It's not something you can just up and move."
Everyone was buzzing with speculation over Zero Wing City's disappearance, and the major powers within the Star Moon Kingdom had grown tense. After all, the appearance of a guild main city — regardless of where it materialized within the kingdom — would make that area Zero Wing's jurisdiction from that point forward, completely off-limits to outside interference.
And while the players and major powers of the Star Moon Kingdom were secretly guessing and discussing…
Level-140 neutral map, Extreme Ice Gorge.
A magnificent and majestic city had suddenly materialized along this coastal cliff, instantly occupying nearly half of the vast coastline that spanned almost twenty thousand yards, transforming it into a coastal metropolis. On one side it backed against the Extreme Ice Sea, and on the other it bordered the endless Frozen Great Forest.
"This area — in this life, it's finally my turn to control it."
The Extreme Ice Gorge was a large neutral map spanning levels 140 to 160, and one of the few neutral maps that connected to the ocean. Near the Extreme Ice Sea lay the
Beyond that, the Extreme Ice Gorge was also home to the Divine Realm's World's Peak.
A new continent that countless Divine Realm experts dreamed of conquering!
The Extreme Ice Gorge was one of the few maps through which one could enter the World's Peak, and it was also the easiest way to reach this region that sat at an altitude exceeding one hundred thousand meters.
In his previous life, every inch of land in the Extreme Ice Gorge had been worth its weight in gold. Every major superpower had fought to establish a foothold here. But because the terrain was far from flat, the number of guild cities the gorge could accommodate was extremely limited — let alone a guild main city.
At most, the land could support only four guild main cities and twenty-two guild cities total, with no remaining space for any more. As for guild towns, they simply couldn't survive here. Even with a Tier 5 Class guarding one, it would be instantly shredded into ice fragments by the Extreme Cold Winds. The minimum requirement was at least a Large-Scale Advanced Guild City.
Within such limited space, for a first-rate guild to establish a city here was nothing short of a dream, because even the superpowers were fighting over spots they couldn't get. The four plots of land that could accommodate guild main cities weren't even enough to go around among the five great super guilds. In the end, two plots were jointly owned by the five super guilds, and the remaining two were shared among the various other superpowers…
Now that the best coastal land in the Extreme Ice Gorge had fallen into Shi Feng's hands, how could he not be excited?
After all, any Tier 4 Class player who reached level 150 would rush to the World's Peak. This new continent held the possibility of further advancement, ancient treasures, and legacies — and even Tier 3 players came to challenge it.
It was simply that in his previous life, the Star Moon Kingdom had been too far from here, completely outside his development range, so he had only heard of it and never actually set foot on the World's Peak.
But the Extreme Ice Gorge — he had been here.
Because the Extreme Ice Gorge was a major Trade District connecting the two continents. More than twenty percent of all seaborne trade vessels between the two continents would dock here. Not everyone could have a flying mount, not everyone could reach Tier 4, and not every faction could control teleportation magic formations — let alone the many restrictions those formations imposed. The truly valuable goods between the two continents ultimately had to rely on sea transport.
With this place as the guild's foundation, future resource income and leveling progression would be enormously secured — something no superpower could simply suppress at will.
"Next comes setting up the Twelve Demonic World Formations."
