Tianquan City, Zero Wing's headquarters.
"Boss, I kinda feel like after joining Zero Wing, it's not nearly as impressive as I imagined!" A Level 121 Tier 3 Summoner eyed the Tier 3 experts around the headquarters who bore the core six-wing insignia, his gaze full of dismissal. "The gear on these core members doesn't even look as good as what our Red Wolf Adventure Team has, let alone your equipment, Boss."
At the moment, the majority of Tier 3 experts wearing the core guild insignia in Zero Wing's headquarters were decked out in mostly Level 110 Mythril equipment, with very few wearing Level 120 Gold-grade gear.
By comparison, when their Red Wolf Adventure Team — several hundred strong — had joined Zero Wing, the worst-equipped among them wore a mix of Level 120 Mythril and Gold-grade equipment, and their weapons were at minimum Level 120 Gold-grade.
Their team leader, meanwhile, was outfitted in a full set of Level 120 Dark Gold equipment along with two pieces of Epic gear. One of those Epics was a weapon — while it could only be used up to Level 120, it vastly outperformed any Level 120 Dark Gold weapon.
"That's to be expected. After all, Zero Wing's three great guilds have been fighting the major superpowers this whole time, and their casualties have been absolutely devastating. I've heard that for Zero Wing's Tier 3 experts, dying two or three times is on the low end — some have died five or six times over. Their equipment naturally suffers." The striking woman at the head of the group, clad in a fiery set of light armor with waist-length hair, smiled and continued, "Besides, we didn't join Zero Wing for the equipment. We joined to level up in the Tower of Secret Covenants and to train inside that mobile fortress."
Equipment was something every major power had roughly comparable versions of right now. And no matter how good your gear was, it couldn't compare to advancing to Tier 4.
Advancing to Tier 4 — that had always been her dream. Especially after witnessing the battle in Tianquan City, where she had come to deeply understand that Tier 3 professionals were nothing but ants. She had once considered herself among the very top experts in the Twin Towers Kingdom, yet in the face of Tier 4, she could have been wiped out with a casual wave — with zero ability to fight back.
But advancing to Tier 4 was far too difficult. Setting aside the matter of finding a Tier 4 Legacy site, even reaching the required skill threshold was extremely hard. The fastest way to advance to Tier 4 was, without question, to join Zero Wing.
The rest of the team shared that longing.
From what they had gathered on the forums so far, the mana density inside the mobile fortress was extraordinarily high, and one's perception of magical elements was far clearer than outside. That would not only help them improve their magical skills, but more importantly, deepen their understanding of magical elements.
With more and more people across the Divine Realm advancing to Tier 4, the key to Tier 4 advancement had also been exposed: one needed to learn Tier 4 Legacy magical skills. That required a considerable degree of mastery and understanding of magical elements in order to meet the threshold in a short period of time.
Otherwise, even if you found a Tier 4 Legacy site, advancing to Tier 4 was impossible.
While the Red Wolf Adventure Team members were chatting, a sudden burst of noise erupted from somewhere within the headquarters, piquing everyone's curiosity.
"That should be the guild warehouse over there, right?" the young Level 121 Tier 3 Summoner said, glancing toward the warehouse in surprise. "Don't tell me Zero Wing's guild warehouse has gone empty…"
"No, look at them — they seem excited," the striking woman, the Red Wolf Adventure Team's former female leader, shook her head.
However, right after she finished speaking, a roaring commotion erupted from the distance.
"Holy crap! The guild is way too generous! They've put out Epic gear that's usable all the way up to Level 150! I heard other superpowers' guild warehouses only put out a few dozen Level 120 Epic pieces at most — there are over a hundred here! Did our guild make a mistake or something?"
"Probably not, but man, Zero Wing is something else. Other guilds don't even have much Level 130 gear yet, but here there are over six thousand pieces — there's even Level 140 Mythril equipment! Once I hit 130, I won't have to worry about swapping gear out for a while!"
At the multiple counters of the warehouse management area, whether they were veteran Zero Wing members or newly joined recruits, everyone was bursting with excitement.
In the Divine Realm, for players, nothing outranked equipment. Especially top-tier gear — it was what countless players dreamed of.
And now Zero Wing had put out over a hundred pieces of top-tier Epic equipment usable up to Level 150. Such an extravagant display was something not even the major superpowers had ever pulled off. Any single piece of Level 150 Epic equipment would normally be snatched up directly by a guild's upper echelon, with absolutely no connection to the rank-and-file members whatsoever.
Of course, exchanging for Zero Wing's Level 150 top-tier Epic gear wasn't easy either. One had to be at least an Elite-tier member to qualify, and the exchange price was far from cheap — the cheapest piece cost three million guild contribution points. Based on the current internal rate of roughly twenty copper coins per contribution point, a single piece would run six thousand gold coins.
