"Map lockdown?"
Lu Xingluo stared at the hazy, blurring world in the distance, his expression grim.
The mobile fortress was immovable. If they couldn't leave, their only option would be to sit and wait for death.
"That Black Flame is ruthless, alright — planning to keep every last one of us here." The Beast Emperor swept his gaze over the thin mist that blanketed the entire map, a cold smirk curling at the corner of his mouth. "But a sealing formation that covers such a massive area? Dream on if it thinks it can stop us from getting out!"
In the Divine Realm, the larger a magic barrier's coverage, the weaker its protective shell. It might look impressive that Zero Wing had sealed off the entire map, but expecting that barrier to hold against numerous Legendary Sacred Sculpture Destroyers was nothing short of a fantasy.
With that, the Beast Emperor took control of the less wounded Sacred Sculpture Destroyers and directed them in a rapid charge toward the mist at the edge of the map.
The Hundred Ghosts party, flying in the distance, shared the same assessment. None of them gave the map lockdown a second thought, simply drifting calmly toward the perimeter.

Mobile Fortress — Lord's Manor.
Fire Dance watched the Sacred Sculpture army and the Hundred Ghosts grow ever more distant, and a trace of urgency crept into her voice. "Guild Leader, we should pursue them now. If they reach the edge of the barrier, it'll be nearly impossible to keep them here."
A magic barrier capable of sealing an entire map was certainly formidable, but in terms of raw defense, it couldn't remotely compare to the mobile fortress. Under the combined assault of so many Sacred Sculpture monsters, the barrier would likely shatter within minutes.
Shi Feng shook his head with a calm smile. "No — let them run a while longer. We'll clear out the Sacred Sculpture Destroyers nearby first. Have Bumie Zhanxin and Huanyu join in as well. And keep the Magic Spirit Cannon trained on the Sacred Sculpture army's movements. The moment they mount a large-scale counterattack, provide fire support for us right away."
Others might not understand what the World Realm was truly capable of, but he knew exactly what it could do.
Although the World Realm was currently incomplete — even after defeating those three NPCs from the Cipher Hand Society, he had only obtained two of the crystal mirrors, six being the full set — having even half of it was more than enough to seal off a section of a map. It simply lacked many of its auxiliary effects.
Still, within the sealed zone, even a Tier 5 Class would find it extremely difficult to break through. The Sacred Sculpture army was large in number but poor in quality — draining the barrier's energy dry would take well over an hour.
An hour. That was more than enough time for his side to accomplish a great deal.
And even if an hour wasn't enough, he could always feed another three thousand Magic Crystals into it. The World Realm was fundamentally different from a defensive magic array — it had no cooldown on recharging. Each activation simply burned through energy until it was fully depleted; there was no way to deactivate it partway through and preserve the remainder.
Most importantly, this time he had spent a small fortune. If he didn't harvest a substantial amount of experience points from those Sacred Sculpture monsters and relied solely on the siege weapons to do the killing, the losses would be staggering.
The fortress's fixed siege weapons granted no experience points no matter how many monsters they killed — at best, you might recover some loot drops. But Sacred Sculpture monsters dropped virtually nothing of value; even if something did drop, it would be underwhelming at best. The only real upside was that they offered generous experience.
Without another word, Shi Feng flew straight out of the Lord's Manor and shot out of the mobile fortress, heading in pursuit of the Sacred Sculpture Destroyers fleeing desperately through the air.
Under the World Realm's suppression — though it was incomplete and could not produce the same overwhelming debuff effect as a complete World Realm — it still managed to impair these monsters' movement speed and reaction time to a noticeable degree. Their aerial flight speed alone had been slashed by at least sixty percent.
And since every Sacred Sculpture Destroyer had already been severely wounded, their flight speed was even more sluggish.
Fire Dance finished issuing her orders to the subordinates below, then charged out alongside Ziyan Liuyun. Jing Wuming and Gu Jiuji, meanwhile, had already left ahead of them, following directly after Shi Feng.
