As Shi Feng's words echoed through the air, a heavy silence fell over the entire area.
No one had expected Shi Feng to be so dismissive of Hundred Ghosts — practically treating their entire guild as beneath his notice.
Qiyuan, the handsome young man, had gone ashen with rage, his gaze growing colder by the second.
"Guild Leader Black Flame, this proposal is meant to benefit both our sides. Setting everything else aside, in terms of Tier 4 Class holders alone, Zero Wing wouldn't exactly have the advantage," Qiyuan said coldly. "If you insist on going your own way, I'll have no choice but to conclude that Zero Wing harbors serious hostility toward Hundred Ghosts."
As he spoke, Qiyuan dropped all pretense of restraining his life force. His terrifying aura proved no less formidable than that of any Tier 4 NPC, and the brilliant glow radiating from his weapons and equipment drew sharp intakes of breath from everyone present.
Because the gear Qiyuan was now displaying was entirely different from what they had observed before.
He was outfitted in a full set of epic-grade equipment!
Beyond the full epic set, the longsword he gripped was studded with six resplendent gemstones. Its design was ancient and unadorned, yet the pressure it radiated clearly surpassed other epic-grade weapons by a wide margin.
As for the short-haired beauty carrying a giant axe at his side, she too displayed a full set of epic-grade equipment — her gear was every bit as impressive as Qiyuan's.
"Their equipment is absurdly good!"
"No wonder even the five great super guilds are somewhat wary of Hundred Ghosts. Gear this good, armed to the teeth — even the Star Ring Guild and the other major powers couldn't put together anything like it."
Members of the various factions present stared at the dazzling auras radiating from the two, momentarily struck speechless with awe.
Epic-grade weapons and equipment — everyone present had seen their share. But assembling a full epic set was next to impossible, and for Hundred Ghosts to have managed it for two people spoke volumes about the guild's hidden strength.
If Zero Wing were to clash with Hundred Ghosts now, it would indeed not be a wise move.
"Hostility?" Shi Feng looked at Qiyuan and couldn't help but laugh. "You overestimate yourselves! If you want to stand with Star Ring, then go ahead and die right alongside them!"
With that, Shi Feng drew the Light of Two Realms and swung it directly at Qiyuan in a devastating arc.
Mana Combat Arts — Light and Shadow!
In an instant, a colossal phantom blade a hundred meters tall materialized in midair and crashed down upon Qiyuan and his companion. Wherever it passed, the void cracked and shattered, and both of them found their bodies locked in place — even the slightest movement felt impossible.
"How dare he!"
Not far away, Lu Xingluo and the other executives from the great powers watched the scene with their jaws hanging open.
They never imagined that Shi Feng would truly give not a shred of face to Hundred Ghosts — and that he would strike with such ruthless decisiveness.
"Madman!"
Qiyuan watched the descending phantom blade with a look of pure terror. He hadn't expected Shi Feng to attack without so much as a second word, and the sheer power of this single strike was suffocating — far beyond anything he had faced from Tier 4 NPCs before.
On pure instinct, Qiyuan produced a magic crystal and crushed it without a moment's hesitation.
Instantly, a dual-layered magical barrier materialized in front of him, shielding them both completely.
BOOM!
The phantom blade struck the magical barrier, and yet only a single crack appeared on its surface. It wasn't until the first layer shattered entirely that the phantom blade finally dissipated...
Qiyuan and the short-haired beauty stared at the single remaining layer of the barrier, their eyes full of disbelief.
This Tier 4 defensive forbidden scroll was something they had brought as a precaution — even a Tier 4 NPC shouldn't have been able to so much as scratch it. Yet this one strike had cracked a layer.
Which meant one more strike would destroy it entirely...
"Fall back!" Qiyuan commanded the entire party without hesitation upon seeing the shattered barrier. "His Mana Combat Arts are too powerful! Only the Elders can handle him! We can't survive a third hit!"
At Qiyuan's order, the Hundred Ghosts members scattered immediately. Qiyuan and the short-haired beauty leapt into the air and charged toward the outskirts of Heavenly Spring City, not daring to linger for even a moment.
"So you do have a few tricks," Shi Feng remarked, glancing briefly at the Tier 4 defensive forbidden spell barrier before turning his cold gaze toward the fleeing pair. "But since you dared to interfere with Zero Wing's business, at least one of you stays behind today — consider it a lesson!"
With that, Shi Feng vanished from where he stood. When he reappeared, he was standing directly in front of Qiyuan.
"You—"
Qiyuan stared at the suddenly materialized Shi Feng, unable to believe his eyes.
Because Shi Feng's speed was simply too fast — his movement through the air rivaled that of a flying mount.
But before Qiyuan could even react, the Light of Two Realms in Shi Feng's hand descended once more, clearly intent on keeping Qiyuan from leaving.
