As the core zone of the Demon-Breaking Mountains, the mana here was blisteringly intense — anyone with a fire resistance below 300 would die the instant they set foot inside. Many of the surrounding monsters were around Level 140 Grand Lord-grade.
Due to the environment, even a normal Lord-grade monster here could perform at nearly Grand Lord-level combat strength, while Grand Lord-grade monsters could fight at a High Grand Lord level. Not only would players never dare set foot here, but even powerful Tier 4 NPCs had no desire to come.
Yet at this moment, a dark figure weaved through the lava-filled, flame-wreathed valley, trailed by over a hundred Grand Lord-grade Lava Colossuses.
Each of these Lava Colossuses stood over ten meters tall. Over a hundred of them charging together sent tremors through the entire valley, drawing even more Lord-grade monsters to the area.

"Looks like I can only pull this many from the area." Shi Feng hovered in midair, glancing at the Lava Colossuses and the swarm of Lord-grade Lagma Stone Fiends behind him. He then began chanting an incantation.
It had taken him over ten minutes of kiting to draw this many Lava Colossuses, and the group had only grown to a little over a hundred. Meanwhile, the Lagma Stone Fiends had plateaued at around three thousand and stopped increasing.
Clearly, the Main God System didn't intend to let Tier 4 players farm these relatively low-intelligence elemental creatures to their heart's content, making them instinctively reluctant to leave their habitats.
As the Lava Colossuses drew closer, Shi Feng activated Flame Domain.
Flame Domain was originally a large-scale offensive spell — not as devastating as a grand destruction magic, but still extremely potent. Combined with Shi Feng's magic domain amplification, mana enhancement, and the environmental bonuses of the zone, its power was fully comparable to a Tier 4 grand destruction spell.
Even though these elemental creatures innately possessed high elemental resistance, before such absolute destructive force, they still hemorrhaged HP — losing over sixteen million health per second on average, with the damage scaling higher every passing second.
In just seven seconds, the Lagma Stone Fiends were already critically wounded, clearly battered to the brink. The Lava Colossuses fared somewhat better, having "only" lost a couple hundred million HP.
"If only a Magister were here. A single Tier 4 forbidden spell could wipe out all the Lord-grade mobs, and I could focus purely on these Grand Lords." Shi Feng looked at the Lagma Stone Fiends, all critically wounded, and let out a mild sigh of frustration.
He had been farming nonstop for six days — essentially clearing out the entire outer and inner zones of the Demon-Breaking Mountains. Now all that remained were these core zone monsters, the vast majority of which were Lord-grade creatures that granted hardly any experience and took the longest to kill.
Fortunately, he had some AoE skills at his disposal, especially the Flame Domain from the Seven Luminaries Ring. Without it, simply dealing with these Lord-grade mobs alone would have been exhausting beyond belief.
After Flame Domain, Shi Feng followed up with Thousand Blazing Slashes.
By now, Thousand Blazing Slashes had evolved into something completely different from what it was before. A single swing of his sword sent a river of light surging across the sky, covering a range of over two hundred yards.
That single attack instantly obliterated every Lagma Stone Fiend caught in the river of sword light — its power was now fully on par with a Tier 4 skill.
Because through Shi Feng's continuous refinement, Thousand Blazing Slashes had been upgraded to the Third Tier limit. The difference between its current power and its First or Second Tier versions was an entire world apart.
Of course, the experience cost had been astronomical as well.
This was precisely why, after six straight days of grinding, his level had only reached 138 — 53%. Otherwise, he could have already pushed past Level 140.
But Shi Feng didn't particularly mind.
After reaching the Tier 4 Class, level truly didn't matter much. Raising his level to 150, or even 200, would be easy — the experience gain was incomparably faster than at Tier 3. They were simply not on the same playing field.
A Grand Lord that was extremely difficult for a Tier 3 Class holder to deal with was just an ordinary mob in front of a Tier 4 — it simply had a thicker health pool and took a bit longer to kill.
The reason Tier 4 Class holders generally appeared to level up slowly was that they were spending experience to upgrade their magic skills.
This was why you could see Tier 4 Class holders around only Level 130-something in the Divine Realm, while many Tier 3 Class holders were at Level 140 or 150 — a strange phenomenon by any measure.
Because after reaching Tier 4, combat power improvement was no longer driven solely by epic-grade weapons and equipment. Only Legendary-grade item fragments could provide meaningful boosts.
To truly elevate a Tier 4 Class holder's combat strength, Tier 4 magic skills were the key.
And so, after reaching the Tier 4 Class, any smart player would seek out various Tier 4 magic Skill Books. For Tier 4 magic Class holders in particular, a single Tier 4 magic Skill Book was worth more than several pieces of top-tier epic-grade equipment.
