In the valley, as the Earthfire Wyvern crashed to the ground like a falling mountain, the very earth trembled. Yet among all the players present, not a single one rushed forward to grab the loot scattered across the ground.
In that moment, it was as if heaven and earth had fallen into absolute silence—even time itself seemed to have stopped flowing.
Every last one of them stared fixedly at the man hovering in midair, clad in a black cloak and wielding a pitch-black sword etched with blood-red veins. Their eyes were filled with terror and deep reverence, as though they were beholding a god.
"Is he… really a player?"
Watching Shi Feng standing suspended in the air, the thought echoed through every player's mind.
A level-99 World-class Legendary Boss had been taken out so effortlessly—as if he were merely clearing away a handful of Elites on the roadside, creatures that couldn't even put up the slightest resistance…
"Just who is he?"
"A player can't possibly be that strong! That was a level-99 World Boss! Even a hundred-man team of Tier 3 experts might not be able to handle it—how could a single player defeat it so easily? He must be an NPC in disguise!"

But whether these players were merely stunned or had already lost their minds in disbelief, Shi Feng couldn't have cared less. He descended to the ground beside the Earthfire Wyvern and began collecting the dropped items.
Because the Divine Realm wasn't the real world—games were just this cruel. A small accumulation of stats was enough to turn many players into monsters in the eyes of others, let alone the qualitative transformation brought about by a rise in tier.
The gap of two tiers!
To these Tier 2 players, calling a Tier 4 cultivator a god would not be an exaggeration, because a Tier 4 class could wipe out swaths of Tier 2 classes with a mere wave of their hand.
And what he'd been dealing with was merely a sub-level-100 World Boss. In the Divine Realm, monsters below level 100 simply couldn't be considered powerful.
If they could, the major powers wouldn't be scrambling to seize these sub-level-100 World Bosses right now. These smaller factions simply couldn't handle anything above level 100, so they had no choice but to settle for the ones below.

6-Piece Set Bonus: Gain Blessing of Light — Constitution +30%, Mana Affinity +20%, gain skill Heart of Mana — forcibly raises the user's mana strength by one tier for 1 minute (cooldown: 1 hour).
The full Dawn Gossamer set comprises seven pieces, placing it among the top Epic sets. As long as a magic-type player could collect even two pieces, they wouldn't need to swap equipment at all before reaching level 150.
If they could assemble the 6-piece bonus and a Tier 4 Magus equipped it, the result would be devastating—arguably one of the best sets for magic-types below Tier 5.
The catch was that Dawn Gossamer was random-dropped by sub-level-150 World Bosses, making it extremely difficult to collect a complete set.
"I could have Huowu and the others take on sub-level-120 World Bosses more often. If they could put together a full set—whether Ziyan wears it or Shuise does—they wouldn't need to change equipment before reaching Tier 5." Shi Feng examined the Dawn Gossamer and felt it was well worth obtaining a set. If he could assemble it before reaching Tier 5, he would be virtually unmatched below that level.
With that, Shi Feng stored the Dawn Gossamer away and swept the more than a dozen level-100 Dark Gold and Gold-grade weapons and equipment dropped by the Earthfire Wyvern, along with a large quantity of materials, magic crystals, potion recipes, and more, into his inventory in one go. Then he took flight and departed the valley.
The members of the surrounding factions only let out a collective breath of relief once Shi Feng had fully disappeared from sight.
