Inside the gates of Silver Wing City, the entrance that had previously seen only a sparse handful of visitors was now flooded with a massive influx of players. The black-robed female Summoner wasn't the only one caught off guard — every Tier 3 expert from the various factions present was rendered speechless.
"Have these people all lost their minds?"
The ten-silver-coin entry fee was no small amount for Tier 2 players at this point, let alone that all these players had been complaining about the exorbitant cost just moments ago, waiting for Silver Wing City to turn into a ghost town devoid of any players.
Yet now, forget about entering the city — these Tier 2 players were practically desperate to shove the ten silver coins they held straight into the hands of the NPC guards, as if the guards didn't snatch them up immediately, they might just pick a fight.
But before the Tier 3 experts at the entrance had waited much longer, wave after wave of Tier 2 players surged into Silver Wing City. The sheer number was staggering, and every single one of them bolted like a cheetah the moment they stepped through the gates, making a beeline for the Silver Wing City transport trading house, their faces brimming with indescribable excitement and elation.
"What on earth has Zero Wing done?" The black-robed female Summoner stared at the tide of people flooding into Silver Wing City and then rushing toward the district where the major faction bases were located, her eyes filled with confusion.
Moments ago, Silver Wing City had been on the verge of collapse under the weight of its entry fees, yet now collapse was the last thing on anyone's mind — the players outside the city had gone completely insane.
At this terrifying rate of entry, with no signs of it slowing down even slightly, Zero Wing would be raking in enough entry fees to make their hands go numb.
"It looks like their destination is the transport trading house that used to be in Silver Wing Town. Something must have changed over there," said the female Warlock standing beside her, watching the crowd surge in that direction.
"Changed?" The black-robed Summoner stared at the overwhelming tide of people, still unable to believe what she was seeing.
So many Tier 2 players, each of them running as though they'd been injected with adrenaline — she could hardly fathom what kind of change could drive them to such frenzy.
The black-robed Summoner didn't waste any more time deliberating. She led the rest of the Frost Heaven party and followed the crowd toward the transport trading house.
As the Frost Heaven members stepped into the packed trading house lobby, every one of them had their eyes go wide, momentarily at a loss for words.
A single transport mission that paid out sixty gold coins, plus other generous rewards — even Tier 3 experts of their caliber couldn't earn that much in a day or two. And yet, there were a full six of these missions available.
Beyond those six four-star missions, there were also a large number of three-star high-level missions. The rewards for those three-star missions were equally impressive, nearly matching the total earnings a top-tier Tier 3 expert could make in a day or two.
After all, when they worked hard for a day or two, they not only had to sacrifice a significant amount of leveling time, but all they earned was gold — their weapon and equipment progression would slow down as well. But these three-star high-level missions offered not just generous gold rewards, but also contribution points and top-quality weapons and equipment. It was more profitable than running a super-large team dungeon, and the team's gear would improve much faster. Dungeon drops simply weren't enough to equip every team member, but with these missions, each person had a substantial chance of obtaining top-quality equipment suited to themselves.
It was no exaggeration to say that a player who simply kept running these three-star high-level transport missions could approach the level of Divine Realm's top-tier Tier 3 experts in terms of income, experience gains, and equipment…
"No wonder they've gone so crazy. I truly underestimated Zero Wing's methods. At this point, forget a ten-silver-coin entry fee — even a twenty-silver-coin fee wouldn't stop a flood of players from wanting to develop in Silver Wing City," the black-robed female Summoner murmured, watching the queue of people waiting to accept missions, a look of realization dawning on her face.
The transport trading house missions weren't just enticing to Tier 2 players — even top-tier Tier 3 experts like herself found them extremely tempting. One could only imagine how powerful the pull of this trading house was for the Tier 2 and ordinary Tier 3 player population.
"Mu Xin, I just relayed this information to the Guild Master. The Guild Master's position is that we should cooperate," the female Warlock beside her whispered.
"The Guild Master really is in a rush. Sure, with the trading house missions and Silver Wing City's defenses, there's no question the city will become the commercial hub of the surrounding kingdoms in the future. And with the trading house's resources, cultivating a large number of Tier 3 experts won't be difficult either. But actively going after those Sacred Sculpture monsters won't be so easy. After all, hardly any factions right now know the terror of those Sacred Sculpture monsters and the Hand of the Sacred Heart. And Zero Wing currently can't contribute much to our alliance — at best, it could serve as a rest stop." The female Summoner, Mu Xin, furrowed her brows slightly, feeling that the Guild Master was being far too impatient.
Zero Wing's transport trading house was indeed impressive, but the alliance they were forming was no simple matter either. Becoming a member would bring benefits beyond what any ordinary super-faction could imagine — and that was precisely why they had come to inspect things firsthand.
