As Shi Feng climbed higher up the staircase, the Swordsmen that appeared grew both more numerous and more powerful. By the eighty-ninth step, what had originally been a single Silver Swordsman had become four Golden Swordsmen.
Each of these Golden Swordsmen possessed combat skills approaching the realm of perfection, and their mastery of the Mind Realm had already reached the introductory stage. Combined, they far surpassed ordinary experts who had achieved perfection, and the four of them coordinated with flawless precision — as if they were a single entity. Their attacks left virtually no opening to defend against, and coupled with their superior stats, even Shi Feng found himself struggling to keep up.
Had he not mastered Sword Light Reincarnation, which allowed him to deflect attacks with pinpoint accuracy, he would have been driven back long ago.

But Shi Feng gave him no chance. The Holy Sword Thunder Split carved a dazzling arc through the air, deflecting the Golden Swordsman's slash, while the Abyssal in his other hand thrust straight for the Golden Swordsman's heart.

The blade struck the golden armor in a shower of sparks, and the Golden Swordsman was sent rearing backward, tearing a gap wide open in the four-man encirclement.
"Now!"
Seeing the Golden Swordsman fully toppled, Shi Feng's footwork shifted abruptly. He unleashed Void Steps to instantly throw off the other three attackers, breaking through the encirclement and stepping onto the ninetieth step.
The moment he set foot on it, a black-robed Swordsman materialized on the ninetieth step and launched a single thrust at Shi Feng.
The strike carried tremendous force, and the instant it was unleashed it dissolved into a spray of starlight, making it impossible to distinguish the real attack from the feint.
"A high-tier combat technique?" Shi Feng's expression darkened as he recognized the Swordsman's skill.
Just from the black-robed Swordsman's swing alone, it was clear that his base stats surpassed even those of the Golden Swordsmen. Combined with a high-tier combat technique, the resulting power was devastatingly overwhelming for a player restricted to a first-class physique.
Nevertheless, Shi Feng immediately raised the Holy Sword Thunder Split to meet the sudden attack head-on.
