The female knight and Elder Jin both froze for a moment, staring at Shi Feng.
"That's right. As long as you can be the first to capture the Ancient God's Tower, the teleportation arrays inside will fall under your control for a period of time — correct?" Shi Feng said.
The Ancient God's Tower had a total of seven floors, each containing several teleportation arrays that led to different worlds. Some even connected to resource-rich secret realms. The Floor Master of each level was determined by whichever player cleared it first, and after that, the position could only be contested once every month.
As long as someone took the first floor first, they would have complete control over the entire floor for the following month — no one else would be able to challenge it even slightly.
"Guild Master Black Flame, you may not be familiar with the Ancient God's Tower," Elder Jin said slowly. "It's simply incomparable to the Dark World's portal gates. Setting aside the fact that non-Dark players are heavily suppressed when they enter the Dark World, inside the Ancient God's Tower the use of any items is prohibited, and those NPCs cannot set foot inside even a single step — players can only rely on their own strength to clear it."
It wasn't that he doubted Zero Wing's power, but the Ancient God's Tower belonged to the Dark World. Non-Dark players were already subjected to significant suppression there, and with items and NPCs both forbidden, even if Zero Wing wanted to help, there was simply no way. Otherwise, the Heart of the Demon wouldn't have been desperately seeking out the Dark World's major factions — it could have just gone to the superpowers of the Divine Realm's mainland instead. With the strength of those superpowers, they would have steamrolled the Dark World's factions.
"That's right," the female knight nodded. "And inside the Ancient God's Tower, it's similar to super-large team dungeons and siege battles — there are strict time requirements, and you generally need at least two hundred Third Class experts, or you simply can't withstand the massive waves of monsters inside, let alone push into the city. Our two guilds can barely scrape together two hundred Third Class experts, but the difficulty of clearing the Ancient God's Tower is no simpler than those level-one-hundred super-large team dungeons. In terms of equipment, weapons, and magical skills, many of our Third Class experts don't meet the standard."
This wasn't something they hadn't considered before, but the Ancient God's Tower was simply too difficult to clear. Even the first floor was beyond the capability of any single faction in the Dark World.
And the Heart of the Demon had been ruthless — they had leaked in the Dark World that the two guilds had cooperated with Zero Wing, instantly isolating them both. They had no choice but to come seek cooperation with Zero Wing; otherwise, once the Heart of the Demon led the combined Third Class experts of the major factions to clear it successfully, they would be in deep trouble.
"Relax, none of that will be a problem," Shi Feng said with a smile. "However, I do have one condition once we succeed."
When it came to the Ancient God's Tower in the Dark World, he could say with confidence that he was more familiar with it than any current Dark World player. He knew exactly how difficult clearing the first floor really was.
Right now, only the Heart of the Demon — which had pooled the Third Class experts of the Dark World's major factions — stood even a remote chance. Dark Rhapsody and the Divine Society working together had zero possibility of clearing it.
Of course, that only applied to the current Dark Rhapsody and Divine Society.
"Guild Master Black Flame, are you truly confident?" The female knight couldn't help but ask, looking at the self-assured Shi Feng.
She knew Zero Wing's Third Class experts were far from ordinary — if they helped the two guilds, it would certainly be a powerful boost. But the Dark World's suppression on non-Dark players was no joke. An average peak expert who entered the Dark World would only perform at the level of a top-tier expert, and the other Third Class experts would fare even worse.
This was precisely why the superpowers of the Divine Realm's mainland found themselves completely helpless in the Dark World — they had no choice but to cooperate with Dark World factions.
"Not high, but about seventy to eighty percent," Shi Feng said.
"Seventy to eighty percent?" Elder Jin's eyebrows shot up from the side.
And he called that not high?
If Shi Feng hadn't actually captured the Dark World's portal gate, he would have assumed the man was a lunatic who had escaped from an asylum.
Even the Divine Realm's superpowers, without the suppression, probably couldn't guarantee clearing the first floor of the Ancient God's Tower. In his view, Zero Wing having thirty to forty percent odds would already be absurd — seventy to eighty percent essentially meant it was a sure thing.
"May I ask what Guild Master Black Flame's condition is?" The female knight took a deep breath to calm herself and asked.
