"Guild Master Black Flame, once you go in there, you can't use any skills, and magical tools are completely off the table as well. You'd have nothing but your own strength to rely on against the Demon God Phantom. That phantom may not be a true deity, but it's still an apparition created by one — powerful enough that even a hero of the same level would be no match for it," Hell Howl warned. "If you fail, even by accident, the only option is to delete your character and start over."
He understood why Shi Feng might be tempted.
After all, a Sub-Legendary chest was far too enticing. If you could get your hands on one, there was a very good chance of obtaining a fragment of a Legendary item.
But the sheer power of the Demon God Phantom was something Shi Feng couldn't possibly comprehend.
If Hell Howl hadn't witnessed it with his own eyes, he might have been just as confident as Shi Feng, believing he stood a chance. But that would have been nothing more than a joke.
The other members of the Hell Legion nodded in agreement. While they acknowledged that Shi Feng's strength was formidable, challenging the Demon God Phantom was still far beyond his reach.

"You can get the chest without fighting the Demon God Phantom?" Hell Howl looked at Shi Feng in bewilderment.
It sounded like Shi Feng was joking. Once a player went in, there was no leaving. Without defeating the Demon God Phantom, how could you possibly get the chest out?
"Of course you can. It's just a bit troublesome." Shi Feng nodded, then turned to Water Rose. "Set up a Starlight Energy Gathering Formation around the temple right now. After that, stand guard on all sides and don't let any monsters near."
When it came to the phantom of an ancient deity, he understood it better than anyone present.
A single phantom was enough to make dragons of the same level detour around it — a being that could rival a Holy Dragon of equivalent rank.
With his current strength, still lacking an unlocked Mana Body, he probably couldn't survive even three or four blows from a Demon God Phantom of the same level, let alone one a tier higher. That would be nothing short of a death sentence.

The independent player, while not a particularly powerful combatant, happened to be an Advanced Magic Master — just one step short of Grandmaster. He managed to dispel the fixed formations surrounding the temple within the time limit, and that was how he successfully obtained the treasure inside.
