As soon as Shi Feng finished speaking, everyone present was stunned.
They hadn't expected him to be so reckless as to plan entering a God-tier area dungeon — the kind that currently made every player's skin crawl just hearing about it.
A God-tier area dungeon!
As the highest-difficulty area dungeon in the entire Divine Realm, and one designed for players above Level 100, the resources inside might be extraordinarily rich, but the danger was beyond anything in the outside world.
Not long ago, several superpowers had sent third-tier teams inside. The result? They couldn't even last half an hour, and more than half the team members were lost. After that, no major power dared set its sights on the place again.
The monsters inside were ferocious enough, but the environment was just as ruthless.
A high-gravity environment!
Even third-tier class experts found it difficult to move around in there, let alone fight monsters whose combat level was anything but low.
"Guild Master Black Flame, it's not that I don't want to agree, but the Tomb of Stars simply isn't somewhere we can go right now. Even though our stats aren't suppressed inside, our mobility drops drastically. Forget fighting those Level 105 Superior Great Lords — even the Level 105 Great Lords would be a nightmare." Hell Howl took a deep breath and explained.
Shi Feng's offer was certainly tempting, but the Tomb of Stars was no joke — it was a God-tier area dungeon, after all.
Third-tier classes originally possessed Transcendent Bodies, yet inside the Tomb their mobility was practically on par with first-tier classes. Against monsters whose speed was completely unaffected, the fighting would be brutal beyond description.
And that wasn't even the worst part.
In the high-gravity environment, the real killer was stamina drain.
If they ventured too deep into the Tomb of Stars, they could very well collapse from exhaustion and die — because inside the Tomb, even the Underworld Empire's own Magic Barrier couldn't perform teleportation. The world rules in there were entirely different from the outside, and the Magic Barrier could at most hold off monsters for a short while.
If they went in, one wrong move could easily lead to a total wipe.
"I understand your concerns, Commander Howl, but if this deal goes through, I can offer eight of the City Lord's Mansion's magic training rooms for your team's use. Of course, the fees for each session are separate." Shi Feng smiled. "I'm sure you've noticed how rich the ambient magic is here at the City Lord's Mansion, and the magic inside those training rooms is even denser."
His main purpose in coming to the Western Continent this time was twofold: first, to get his hands on various rare crafting materials found here, and second— Starlight!
Without Starlight, reviving the withered main trunk of the Tree of Life was virtually impossible.
As the only Legendary-grade material native to the Western Continent, Starlight could only be found inside the Tomb of Stars.
According to what he knew from his previous life, three out of six Starlight drops had occurred during the initial clearing runs. The Tomb of Stars hadn't been cleared yet, so if he didn't act quickly, the next time he organized a team to come, it would only be harder.
After all, the minimum requirement just to enter the Tomb of Stars was a third-tier class. Without third-tier classes, entry was impossible.
And a simple hundred-person raid was far from enough — generally, a five-hundred-person team was the baseline for even attempting to clear the Tomb of Stars.
