The moment the Dragon Phoenix Pavilion elder spoke, every person present turned their gaze to the magic scroll in Feng Qianyu's hands, each one struck with disbelief.
"Zero Wing sells these too?"
Magic barrier scrolls were extraordinarily scarce in the current market. Any major power that obtained one — even a basic magic barrier scroll — would never put it up for sale. Without exception, they were all handed over to their guild's main raid team.
The reason was simple. High-tier Grand Lords above Level 100 were simply too difficult to deal with. If a High-tier Grand Lord possessed special skills, even a Tier 3 main tank couldn't hold aggro — let alone teams without a Tier 3 tank.
In order to push through Level 100 neutral maps more effectively, the major powers had no choice but to rely on magic barriers to handle Level 100 High-tier Grand Lords.
But because magic barrier scrolls were so scarce, they were far from sufficient for all the major powers' main raid teams, causing progress on Level 100 neutral maps to remain painfully slow across the board.
The best magic barrier scrolls available on the market were at most mid-tier. High-tier magic barrier scrolls were a rare find — even superpowers like theirs would willingly trade Level 100 Dark-Gold equipment for one.
And yet even at that price, no one was willing to make the trade.
But now Shi Feng was not only selling high-tier magic barrier scrolls — he was selling ancient magic barrier scrolls. It felt like a dream.
Everyone knew that in the Divine Realm, mid-tier magic scrolls could only suppress Level 100 High-tier Grand Lords and were completely useless against Legendary monsters. Only high-tier magic scrolls could do the job.
Which meant that a set of high-tier magic barrier scrolls guaranteed the ability to kill at least one Level 100 Legendary monster — their value was self-evident.
What was more, ancient magic scrolls were generally far more powerful than ordinary scrolls of the same tier, and they required fewer people to form the magic circle. That meant more hands free to fight the monster. With ordinary high-tier magic barriers, a team would still need twenty or thirty Tier 3 experts on standby. With ancient magic scrolls, only the main tank needed to be Tier 3. That meant even non-guild-main teams could kill Level 100 Legendary monsters.
If these could be supplied in large quantities, the impact on a guild's ability to push Level 100 neutral maps wouldn't just be incremental — it would be a qualitative transformation.
"High-tier ancient magic barrier scrolls?"
A flicker of surprise crossed Cold Light Poetry Shadow's face. She hadn't expected Shi Feng to produce something as precious as high-tier ancient magic barrier scrolls.
If what Shi Feng said was true — that he could supply a large number of the Twelve Elemental Pillars — then the Dragon Phoenix Pavilion could genuinely dominate all of Ruin Hill. Not a single superpower in the entire Genesis Empire would be able to rival them.
After all, every superpower was currently at their wit's end when it came to Level 100 Legendary monsters. Their own Illusory Myth was no exception.
Even Tier 3 Battle Demon Marks didn't help much, because Battle Demon Marks didn't boost a player's attributes at all — they only improved the efficiency of one's existing strength. That made them of limited use against Legendary monsters; their real value lay in player-versus-player combat. And when fighting a Legendary monster, if a player didn't even meet the minimum attribute threshold to begin with, a Tier 3 Battle Demon Mark was equally meaningless.
High-tier magic barriers, on the other hand, worked differently. They didn't enhance a player's combat power or attributes — they drastically reduced the difficulty of the encounter, turning a team that had zero chance into one that could actually take on a Legendary monster.
The Twelve Elemental Pillars, being ancient magic, went even further: a Tier 2 team could kill a Level 100 Legendary monster. Their value was several times that of ordinary high-tier magic barrier scrolls.
For any superpower, assembling a Tier 3 team was incredibly difficult. But assembling a Tier 2 expert team? That was almost trivially easy.
Level 100 Legendary monsters dropped enormously lucrative loot. What was more, they were the foundation for pushing Level 100 team dungeons. If a guild's Tier 2 teams could kill them too, the rate of accumulation would be several times — even an order of magnitude — faster than any rival superpower.
With that kind of accumulation, whether it came to the number of Tier 3 classes produced or the overall strength of a guild's experts, every other superpower in Genesis Empire would be left far behind by the Dragon Phoenix Pavilion, propelling it to heights never before seen.
Feng Qianyu, who was now holding the Twelve Elemental Pillars in her hands, was momentarily stunned herself, caught off guard by Shi Feng's sheer audacity.
"Guild Master Black Flame, this is a high-tier ancient magic barrier scroll. Even if you're trying to back someone up, there's no need to treat us like fools with talk of 'large quantities'!" Jiu Huang sneered at what he saw as Shi Feng inflating his own reputation.
He instinctively didn't believe a word of it. In his view, Shi Feng had simply pulled out a single Twelve Elemental Pillars scroll — obtained through who knew what means — specifically to give Feng Qianyu face, and was pretending he could trade them in bulk to make himself look impressive.
After all, the most powerful magic barrier that any superpower could currently craft was the mid-tier magic barrier. The crafting materials alone were incredibly precious, and the number of superpowers capable of making them could be counted on one hand.
What right did Zero Wing have to produce large quantities of high-tier ancient magic barrier scrolls?
All hot air?
"Is that so?"
