"You're going too, Guild Master?" Miao Wuyin asked, her eyes lighting up with excitement.
As the guild master, Shi Feng had a packed schedule every day. For this internal conflict within the Azure Commerce Association, having a guild elder or vice guild master attend would already be tremendous support—Miao Wuyin had never even dared to imagine Shi Feng going in person.
"Mm. The Azure Commerce Association spans two Divine Realm continents. This is a good opportunity to learn about the development situation on the Western Continent," Shi Feng nodded.
The opening of the Planar Worlds had given every major power the chance to acquire more resources, but compared to the Western Continent, they still fell far short—especially when it came to trading goods between the two continents. The profits involved were unimaginably vast.
It was precisely because of this that so many superpowers were desperate to establish connections with the Azure Commerce Association.
The Azure Commerce Association was one of the few factions that could travel freely between the Eastern and Western Continents. While establishing this kind of cooperation with them was essentially impossible, learning about the Western Continent's situation through the Azure Commerce Association was perfectly feasible.
For others, finding a way to travel between the two continents was extraordinarily difficult—even among the great superpowers, very few could manage it. But Shi Feng was not among them.
Currently, Zero Wing was strapped for cash in every department. The territory in Cold Spring Canyon alone, once development began, would burn through money like nothing else. Relying solely on the revitalized Torchfire Commerce Association to boost income was far too slow. The best solution would be to get Zero Wing's products onto the Western Continent for sale—not only would the returns come quickly, but the profits would be enough to make any superpower go mad with envy.
"Then I'll go make preparations right away." Upon hearing that Shi Feng was willing to go along, Miao Wuyin could hardly contain her delight, and she immediately began organizing the various materials in her hands.
"Oh, right—come by my place in a bit to pick up some equipment," Shi Feng said.
Miao Wuyin had advanced to Senior Alchemist and leveled up quickly as a result—she was now at level 99, just one step away from level 100. However, her equipment was quite ordinary. She didn't even have a handful of level 95 gear.
This trip to the Azure Commerce Association to compete was technically Miao Wuyin's personal affair, but she was still a member of Zero Wing. If the Azure Commerce Association saw her in such shabby gear, they would probably laugh Zero Wing out of existence.
"Equipment?"
Miao Wuyin glanced at her own gear and couldn't help but feel a wave of shame.
Her equipment really was subpar. Over half of her pieces were level 90 items, and the level 95 equipment she had was all Mythril Rank at best.
For an ordinary expert player, this might be perfectly acceptable, but for the chief alchemist of the Torchfire Commerce Association, it was embarrassingly poor. After all, the guild vault's equipment was available for exchange by their crafting players as well.
But she had spent all her guild contribution points on rare materials to speed up her advancement.
After tidying up the alchemy tools and materials at hand, Miao Wuyin made her way to the beginner's meditation room where Shi Feng was waiting.
"Give these a try." When Shi Feng saw Miao Wuyin walk in, he gestured toward the Crimson Dusk set that had already been placed on the stone platform after its enhancement.
The Crimson Dusk set had no class restrictions. The materials were almost entirely magic crystals and magic essences, so any class could equip it—the gear would automatically transform to suit the wearer's class. That was the beauty of magic equipment sets.
"A second-tier advanced magic equipment set!" Miao Wuyin stared at the Crimson Dusk set on the stone platform, her face filled with disbelief.
She was no stranger to magic equipment sets. A guild member had previously equipped one, and it had left many of the commerce association members green with envy. Magic equipment sets were like concentrated pools of magic—wearing one would at least boost one's magic density, making the mind calmer and more lucid.
But magic equipment sets were far too rare. There was no way ordinary players could get their hands on one.
