Shi Feng watched as magic power surged wildly from the power source before him, his heart a little uneasy.
The hardest part of building an airship was the power source. Once that was sorted, everything else was much simpler — it just required a lot of manpower. But with the Candlelight Trading Firm's resources, constructing a single airship was no trouble at all, let alone two or three simultaneously.
As the surging magic gradually settled, a power source covered in magic circles was revealed before Shi Feng's eyes. The ambient magic around it was being drawn in involuntarily, and the sheer volume of mana was enough to noticeably raise the magic density throughout the room.
"Excellent! It's done!" Shi Feng's face broke into a look of wild elation.
He had crafted power sources before, so he knew the rules. If the attempt failed, the magic within the power source would never stabilize. But if it held steady, that meant success.
In other words, building the Red Dragon Airship was now virtually a certainty.
What shocked him even more was the magic density inside the room — it far exceeded his expectations. Even the power source he had once forged for a Bronze-rank Guardian Golem couldn't compare to a third of this.
After all, the power source was the heart of any machine. How powerful that machine turned out to be depended largely on the quality of that heart.
Shi Feng immediately opened the power source's appraisal panel.

"Are Dragon Blood Crystals really this effective?" Shi Feng stared at the system readout, his eyes blazing.
He had originally thought simply completing the build would be enough, but the Dragon Blood Crystals had forcibly elevated the power source to Bronze rank.
The power source was the heart of an airship. A typical Bronze-rank airship operated using a Bronze-rank power source at its core. If a normal-grade airship were fitted with a Bronze-rank power source, it would undoubtedly be upgraded in class — after all, the materials used to build a Bronze-rank airship and a normal-grade one weren't that different. The real distinction lay in the power source.
With that thought, Shi Feng immediately contacted Youyu Weixiao and ordered him to accelerate the production of the remaining parts.
After more than twenty hours of non-stop work, the team finally finished every last component. When Shi Feng received them, he didn't begin assembly inside the Candlelight Trading Firm. Instead, using the Ring of Seven Luminaries' teleportation gate, he brought Youyu Weixiao directly to a vast stone forest plain within the jurisdiction of White River City.
An airship was no small object — it was larger than a sailing vessel and far too big for any forging room. Assembly required an enormous open space. To keep it hidden from prying eyes, this desolate, uninhabited plain was the only option.
The airship had an extraordinary number of parts. A normal assembly would take at least a day or two. But for Shi Feng and Youyu Weixiao, both of whom had reached Intermediate Master Blacksmith rank, the time required was far shorter — especially for Shi Feng, whose Soul Fire made the process even faster.
The two of them spent just over ten hours, and the airship was complete.
Before them stood a mechanized airship over sixty meters long and nearly twenty meters tall, its entire hull a deep crimson. It was the Red Dragon Airship.
"So this is an airship?" Youyu Weixiao stared at the vessel he had helped assemble with his own hands, still struggling to believe it was real.
It was magnificent.
Even from a distance, the Red Dragon Airship radiated an indescribable sense of awe. Just imagining this steel behemoth soaring through the sky — even those massive Transcendent-rank flying mounts would look like infants beside it. And with the airship's eight Magic Cannons and one Magic Crystal Main Cannon, no player or monster would stand a chance.
Shi Feng gazed at the Red Dragon Airship with a deep sense of emotion.
