The instant the Frost Army Lord died, the remaining members of Shi Feng's party saw their experience points skyrocket.
The experience from a level-90 World Boss was so plentiful that it pushed Jing Wuming and the others straight to level 80. As for Ke Le and the rest who were already at levels 86 or 87, their experience bars surged by a huge chunk—far more than a full day of grinding could have earned.
"That boss is finally dead!"
Everyone stared at their rising experience bars and couldn't help but let out a collective sigh of relief, deeply grateful to still be alive.
After the Frost Army Lord had entered its berserk state, the less health it had, the more frenzied it became. They simply couldn't hold it back and had survived purely on luck.
Thankfully, they had killed it quickly enough. Another twenty or thirty seconds, and they would have been wiped out entirely.
But once the group had caught their breath, their gazes involuntarily drifted toward the items scattered across the ground where the Frost Army Lord had fallen.
"That's a massive amount of loot!"
"We're rolling in it now! The drops from a level-90 World Boss—who knows what kind of treasures we'll get?"
"For real! Just the sight of the dropped items is drawing ambient magic toward them on its own. Something incredible must have dropped."
Everyone stared at the gleaming, golden loot strewn across the ground like a treasure hoard, eyes wide with excitement. A casual glance revealed several pieces of Dark-Gold equipment, and among them were even a few rare Dark-Gold weapons.
Once players in the Divine Realm surpassed level 50, drops from bosses and monsters plummeted, and Dark-Gold equipment became exceedingly difficult to obtain. Typically, you had to tackle Hell Difficulty team Dungeons just to have a chance. A single boss dropping one piece of Dark-Gold equipment was considered good, and with a full team of over a hundred, there were far too many mouths to feed. For most expert teams, possessing even a single piece of Dark-Gold equipment at their current level was enough to make everyone else green with envy.
Even their own Asura Adventurer Team—one of the top ten adventurer teams in the Fire Dragon Empire—had members approaching level 80, yet only a handful of them possessed level-75 Dark-Gold equipment, let alone other teams.
But the Frost Army Lord's drops numbered well over a hundred items—far more than what Hell Difficulty team Dungeon bosses could ever hope to drop.
And for a level-90 World Boss, the worst weapons and equipment among the drops would still be at the level-90 standard.
Even the major superpowers would have to wait a long time to get their hands on level-90 Dark-Gold weapons. By the time they reached level 100, level-90 Dark-Gold weapons still wouldn't necessarily be obsolete.
Not to mention Epic-tier equipment. Even in Hell Difficulty team Dungeons, the drop rate for Epic gear was still absurdly low—only the teams that achieved a First Clear stood a meaningfully higher chance of obtaining Epic equipment.
"Alright, healers—get everyone back on their feet first. Then we'll distribute the loot." Shi Feng smiled as he saw everyone still utterly fixated on the Frost Army Lord's drops.
When it came to World Boss loot, there probably wasn't a single person in the entire Divine Realm who wouldn't be tempted. After all, that kind of drop represented the pinnacle of an era. Getting even one World Boss drop could push one's strength to a whole new level.
At Shi Feng's words, the healers immediately sprang into action. The Frost Army Lord's death had been so overwhelming that they'd even forgotten about reviving the fallen. As the healers worked, Shi Feng began sorting through the Frost Army Lord's drops. Those with nothing else to do sat off to the side watching quietly, eyes locked on the pile with barely contained anticipation—even Ke Le, the main tank, was no exception.
In short order, the healers had revived all the fallen players, and Shi Feng finished cataloging every last drop. Then he began posting the loot data to the party chat piece by piece, much to everyone's eager anticipation.
"The drops from this World Boss are absolutely insane!"
