"Level 81?!"
"How is their level so high?"
At this moment, not only had Sha Gu noticed Lun Hui and the others' levels, but everyone present had as well. Eyes went wide all around, as if they were seeing things.
But no matter how many times they checked with their observation skills, the result remained unchanged — Level 81.
"Who exactly are they?" Xuan Jing, who was directing the battle, stared at Lun Hui and the others as they emerged from the side hall, her heart filled with shock. Among them, she quickly spotted a familiar figure. "Black Flame!"
By now, Shi Feng's appearance had changed completely. He wore a suit of armor in alternating red and black, with two resplendent longswords — one azure, one white — strapped across his waist. He was as still and deep as the ocean, giving off an ineffable sense of profundity. The feeling was entirely different from before, when he had resembled a blade sheathed and ready to strike — it was as if he had become a completely different person.
Previously, she had been able to gauge some measure of Shi Feng's depth. Now, she could see nothing at all.
And the Level 81 disguise Shi Feng had adopted left Xuan Jing at a loss for words.
After reaching Level 70, the experience required to gain each additional level was simply staggering. They had been constantly fighting monsters above their level and completing high-tier quests, and she had only just reached Level 78. That level already made her the highest-ranked member of the Holy Scripture Hall — even if someone surpassed her, being one level higher would be extraordinary. But Shi Feng was three levels above her, and she had no idea how he had possibly ground that high.
Moreover, Level 80 was a watershed. A player's stats at Level 80 were significantly stronger than those at Level 79.
If it had been just Black Flame alone, it would have been one thing — after all, Black Flame had already accomplished the impossible by seizing Stone Forest City, so being a few levels higher than her was only to be expected. But the nine people at Shi Feng's side had all reached Level 81 as well. What kind of absurdity was that?
The most terrifying part was that she didn't recognize a single one of them…
In the Divine Realm, level might not fully reflect a player's true strength, but to a large degree, it still indicated a player's general caliber.
Lun Hui and the others had reached Level 81. With that level, even if their strength hadn't reached the absolute pinnacle, it had to be very close.
"How many secrets is Zero Wing hiding?" Xuan Jing stared at Lun Hui and the others. She could tell that Shi Feng had deep ties with these people — they even seemed to follow his lead, however subtly.
Peak experts!
For a super guild like theirs, such individuals would be upper echelon leadership at the very least. For newly risen superpowers, they were absolute pillars — ones that would be offered astronomical sums to recruit. And yet, even with such incentives, the number that could be lured was vanishingly small.
First, such experts were simply too rare, each one a dragon among men.
Second, they didn't lack money, so wealth alone was rarely enough to sway them.
Third, their ambitions and pursuits were different from ordinary people's.
Now, nine potential peak experts had suddenly appeared, and they were closely tied to Shi Feng. The Holy Scripture Hall's assessment of Zero Wing would need to be revised — thoroughly.
Previously, even though Zero Wing had obtained Stone Forest City and its vast resources, it was ultimately a guild without any backing. The experts it could field amounted to a paltry few, and a guild's growth could never depend on a handful of strong individuals alone.
Zero Wing had made numerous enemies, and its feud with Star Ring was an irreconcilable one.
Star Ring might be unable to do anything about Zero Wing for now, but the advantage of Stone Forest City could only last so long. Once players' levels grew high enough, Stone Forest City's edge in the Bottomless Abyss would diminish greatly. And Star Ring's backing was far more formidable than outsiders realized — dealing with Zero Wing would not be difficult for them.
For this reason, none of the major superpowers were optimistic about Zero Wing and had been entirely unwilling to cooperate. After all, allying with Zero Wing meant making an enemy of Star Ring, and the trade-off simply wasn't worth it.
But if Zero Wing had more than ten peak experts, the situation would be entirely different.
At the very least, their capability in tackling top-tier team Dungeons would be no worse than any other super power's. Coupled with Stone Forest City's enormous advantages, Zero Wing would already be taking on the embryonic shape of a genuine superpower.
While Xuan Jing was still reeling with shock, Sha Gu and Qi Huang in the main hall found the sight utterly inconceivable.
"How could their levels have jumped so much?" Qi Huang stared fixedly at Shi Feng and his companions, her mind racing with questions.
She had seen their levels clearly before they entered the side hall.
And she knew firsthand what the Thunder Temple's side hall was like — it was not something current players could handle. Shi Feng's group had only ten people. Surviving was already a miracle; leveling up in there was nothing short of a dream.
