Only Shi Feng and his four companions stood quietly, looking down at Volenka's body amid the items that had dropped across the floor.

Bing Ying couldn't help but cheer, while Weiyang Qianhen and Shi Feng both let out a breath of relief.
Half-Serpent General Volenka's burst damage had been terrifyingly high. If the fight had dragged on for another three or five seconds, the result would have been a total party wipe — and that would have been catastrophic.
Volenka's death sent their experience points soaring. Even Shi Feng, who was already at level 84, saw his experience bar climbing in great chunks.

The sheer volume of experience was incomparable to anything the Great Lord-rank Half-Serpent Guard Captains could offer. In barely five seconds, a radiant light erupted around Shi Feng as he reached level 85. Bing Ying, Weiyang Qianhen, and the others jumped straight from level 80 to level 81.
The astronomical experience gains left everyone stunned for a moment.
After all, their levels weren't in the fifty-to-sixty range anymore — they were at the towering height of level eighty. The experience required at this tier was monstrous. Out in the normal world, it would take four or five days of grinding to gain even a single level. Yet here, killing just one Half-Serpent General had rocketed them up an entire level...
"This boss's experience rewards are insane," said Invisible Arrow, unable to contain his excitement. "If we could kill a few more, the people from the Seven Deadly Sins Flower would have their jaws on the floor when we got out."
Their current levels were absolutely at the very peak of the Divine Realm. Although they hadn't left the side hall during this time, they'd been able to gather plenty of intelligence from the real world.
Right now, the strongest players among the major superpowers had only reached level 78 at most, with the vast majority sitting at 77. Their level 81 would be enough to terrify anyone.
In the Divine Realm, levels were critically important — especially for top-tier players like them. Once they reached the right threshold, they could head to higher-level maps to explore, and the rewards there would dwarf anything the low-level zones could offer. Plus, by getting into those high-level zones ahead of everyone else, they'd face zero competition, which meant even greater gains.
Besides, level suppression had always been a constant factor in the Divine Realm. Aside from a rare few who possessed equipment that ignored level gaps, any player facing a suppression of five levels or more would feel tremendous pressure.
"Exactly. The people from the Seven Deadly Sins Flower probably never dreamed we'd level up this fast," Bing Ying said with a grin. "All we need is to keep grinding for a while and build a five-level gap over them. Once the major superpowers all enter the Thunder God Secret Realm, we'll have a real chance to fight our way out."
Weiyang Qianhen nodded in agreement.
The Thunder God Secret Realm was extremely difficult for ordinary factions to access, but the major superpowers had likely already made contact with it. That was precisely why they wanted to push into the Thunder Hall as quickly as possible — to avoid running into those superpowers. Now that so many days had passed, the big factions had probably already entered the Thunder God Secret Realm.
Once they were inside, the Seven Deadly Sins Flower would no longer be able to dominate the Thunder God Secret Realm with an iron grip. In the ensuing chaos, their chances of slipping away would be enormous.

Clearing the bosses in the side hall was no easy task. Of the four bosses, Volenka had been the easiest to handle — and the only one they could actually kill. The rest of the bosses would require a raid of at least a hundred players; without that, even the Thunder God Orb wouldn't help.
"Oh right!" Bing Ying only remembered the revival issue after Shi Feng's reminder and quickly began chanting her spell.
Before long, Lunhui and the others were revived one after another. Seeing Volenka's corpse lying on the ground, each of them wore an expression of pure excitement. They hadn't truly believed Shi Feng could pull it off — but he had.
