The twelve blade images moved as if they had a will of their own, forming a perfect blockade within the small reception room. There was simply nowhere to dodge; he could only take the hits head-on.
"Zhuo Hai really isn't holding back," Bing Ying muttered from the side, slightly surprised.
She hadn't expected Zhuo Hai to be even more ruthless than she was.
The combat technique, Pack of Wolves, was Zhuo Hai's signature move. Not only was it an advanced combat technique in its own right, but combined with his Tier 2 skill, Chaotic Light Flash, even a Domain expert would struggle to counter it. After all, this wasn't the kind of attack you could simply block once you saw through it.
To retreat unscathed from such a confined space, one would need to use a life-saving skill. Otherwise, if a single one of Zhuo Hai's strikes landed, he would press the advantage and unleash a full combo without giving the slightest opening to breathe. Even high-defense, high-HP Shield Warriors and Guardian Knights would perish.
Just as Zhuo Hai's twelve blade images were about to swallow Shi Feng, Shi Feng did not do what Bing Ying and Zhuo Hai had expected — he did not use a life-saving skill to forcibly interrupt Zhuo Hai's assault. Instead, he swung the twin swords in his hands and charged straight into the twelve blade images.

The Sword's Trajectory Shi Feng used now was vastly different from before. It was simple and unadorned — just a handful of strokes — yet it carried an impenetrable feeling, as if nothing could slip through.
Before any of the twelve blade images even touched Shi Feng, they were warped by an invisible force, as though wolves encountering a lion, each one deliberately swerving out of the way on its own.
"Transcendent Mastery! Has this kid really reached this level of technique?" Bing Ying stared at Shi Feng, who had neutralized Zhuo Hai's assault with seemingly effortless ease, and couldn't help but feel astonished.
Zhuo Hai, upon seeing this, also halted his attack and quietly watched Shi Feng, as if he had just discovered a priceless treasure.
"Incredible! I can't believe you've already reached the state of Transcendent Mastery. No wonder Wei Yang gave you his last spot," Zhuo Hai said to Shi Feng, visibly excited.
During their exchange, Watercolor Rose had already finished her incantation and was about to launch an attack on Zhuo Hai, but Shi Feng stopped her.
"I'm not sure what the two of you are after, and what exactly is this 'state of Transcendent Mastery'?" Shi Feng asked calmly.
He already had a clear understanding of Zhuo Hai's attack — it had been a test. Once he neutralized it with a single move and Zhuo Hai stopped attacking, it was obvious he had passed some kind of trial.
As for the state of Transcendent Mastery, this was the first time he had ever heard of it.
"Sorry about that! We invited you because we need to do something very important, and we couldn't afford to be careless. That's why we wanted to test you. I didn't expect you to be this impressive — truly worthy of Wei Yang's choice," Zhuo Hai said apologetically. "As for the state of Transcendent Mastery, it's a realm we discovered within the Divine Realm. It refers to a certain level of proficiency in the application of technique. "I see." Shi Feng nodded in understanding. "May I ask what Wei Yang needs me for?"
The Divine Realm recognized only one realm by name: the Realm of Logic. It was likely that Zhuo Hai and the others had never had deep contact with NPCs who knew of the Realm of Logic or any related information, so they had simply coined their own term for it.
No wonder he had found Zhuo Hai's Pack of Wolves technique so unusual — it clearly wasn't an ordinary combat technique. It was obviously an application of the Realm of Logic.
But the thought that others had also touched upon the Realm of Logic, and had even explored it to a certain degree, was quite startling. Zhuo Hai, in particular, had clearly already entered the threshold.
This was not good news for Shi Feng.
After all, the exclusivity of the Realm of Logic had been one of Zero Wing's greatest advantages. With items rendered unusable and magic and skills heavily suppressed, combat inside would depend entirely on a player's personal skill.
