As Fire Dance made her move on the battlefield, the members of the Wild Beast Legion watching from afar began scrutinizing her with newfound seriousness. Unlike Yu Mo, whose body shimmered with silver divine runes as though a deity had descended, Fire Dance was instead wreathed in dark fog, demonic energy surging around her like a demon lord incarnate.
"That woman is actually powerful enough to block Captain Yu Mo's killing blow!"
The members of the Wild Beast Legion knew exactly how powerful Yu Mo was. Even among their own ranks, the experts capable of blocking one of Yu Mo's killing blows could be counted on one hand—let alone the fact that Yu Mo had already activated her Celestial Illusion.
The Celestial Illusion was Yu Mo's unique burst skill. Not only was it far more powerful than ordinary burst skills, but it also granted the user divine-speed reflexes. Even monster-tier experts could be instantly killed if they let their guard down.
Even Vice Commander Yun Manshan would likely have to temporarily avoid Yu Mo's attacks when she had the Celestial Illusion active.
Yet someone here had actually managed to easily block Yu Mo's attacks while the Celestial Illusion was running. How could that not shock everyone?
"Fire Dance? So you're the commander of Zero Wing's main force?" Yu Mo glanced at Fire Dance, a playful smile curling at the corner of her lips. "I didn't expect Zero Wing to have someone like you besides that Black Flame. Now this is starting to get interesting. Alright, you two come at me together!"
Yu Mo's arrogant attitude immediately stoked the fury of the Zero Wing main force members present, each one glaring at her with undisguised rage. However, Yan Tianxing and the others who had just arrived showed no anger at all. Instead, the looks they cast toward Yu Mo were tinged with deep wariness.
Because they all knew exactly how terrifying this woman's strength was.
"Fire Dance, be careful—her strength goes far beyond what she showed just now. While she's letting her guard down, I suggest we join forces. If she gets serious, dealing with her will be nearly impossible," Yan Tianxing quietly advised Fire Dance.
He could vaguely gauge the extent of Yu Mo's strength. She was not only a monster who had mastered her Domain, but she couldn't be far from taking the next step either. Moreover, Yu Mo had never taken Ke Le seriously from start to finish—that much he was certain of. After all, back when Yu Mo had activated the Celestial Illusion, she alone had nearly wrecked the War Puppet in battle and had single-handedly destroyed the Hell Chariot that had attacked alongside it. Her strength was nothing short of terrifying.
But those weren't even the most frightening things about her. Yu Mo's greatest asset was her speed. In the heat of that fierce battle, neither the War Puppet nor the Hell Chariot had managed to land a single hit on her.
While Ke Le now possessed power comparable to Legendary-tier, his speed was still slower than the War Puppet's, and his overall combat strength was roughly on par with it. He couldn't do a thing about Yu Mo.
Even with Fire Dance joining the fight, it would simply be like having two War Puppets. Taking Yu Mo down would still be extremely difficult. The only viable option was to catch her off guard by combining forces with himself and Yi Luofei in a four-person ambush. Even someone as powerful as Yu Mo wouldn't be able to withstand that.
"No. I'll handle her alone. Just make sure none of the others get away." Fire Dance shook her head, flatly rejecting Yan Tianxing's suggestion.
"This..." Yan Tianxing grew anxious.
He understood that Fire Dance was young and brimming with confidence—naturally eager to test herself against a strong opponent. But Yu Mo's strength was on a completely different level from ordinary monster-tier experts. Even Guild Leader Black Flame might not be able to reliably defeat her. If Yu Mo chose to avoid the confrontation and instead targeted the others, they would be powerless to stop her, and the rest of Zero Wing would be in serious trouble.
"Brother Tianxing, if Sister Fire Dance says it's fine, then it should be fine. Let's just focus on the rest of the Wild Beast Legion," Ke Le said, trying to calm him down.
Yan Tianxing was rendered speechless.
The perfect opportunity to take down Yu Mo had just slipped through their fingers. Killing her in the future would be even harder, because once Yu Mo had a clear picture of Zero Wing's actual strength, her speed and her sharp mind would make mounting a successful ambush with sufficient firepower virtually impossible.
"Are you done discussing?" Yu Mo glanced at Yan Tianxing and Yi Luofei, who had arrived, and smiled faintly. "I don't mind either way. All four of you can come at me."
