The overwhelming aura radiating from Fire Dance gave even Bilin and the others — who had been itching to make a move — serious pause.
"Guild Master, should we engage?" Bilin stared at Fire Dance, who looked like a living monster, and asked with some hesitation toward the guild master behind her — Wan Xiang.
Shi Feng alone had already proven to be an incredibly difficult opponent as a Domain master. Now, with Fire Dance seemingly possessing Domain mastery as well, Bilin found herself unable to make a quick judgment.
Two Domain masters — that was not something she could take lightly.
An ordinary player might not grasp the significance of the difference between one Domain master and two Domain masters, but as a high-ranking member of the Senluo Hall, Bilin understood it perfectly. This was no longer just a question of individual strength — it was a question of Zero Wing's true depth as a guild.
Guild depth might seem inconsequential in the present, but it was the very indicator of a guild's future potential.
If Zero Wing had previously only had Shi Feng as a single Domain master, one could dismiss it as a stroke of luck, hardly proof of any real depth on the guild's part. But possessing two Domain masters? That was not something that could be hand-waved as mere luck. Domain masters did not grow on trees, after all.
A guild that could field two Domain masters was far more formidable than the outside world assumed.
"Bilin, you're overthinking things," said a solemn-faced man with a cross-shaped scar on his cheek, who spoke up suddenly. "Just because her aura is staggering doesn't necessarily mean she's a Domain monster. It could just be exceptional base stats. Zero Wing is a guild with no backing to speak of — the fact that they even have one Domain monster is already a miracle. How could they possibly have a second one? And someone so young, no less?"
The Senluo Hall members present heard the man's words, and their tension evaporated in an instant, as though his reassurance were an anchor that calmed the raging sea. Not a single person among them harbored any doubt.
After all, this man was the pillar of the Senluo Hall — Lei Yuan, their First Vice Guild Master, and a top-ten ranked expert on the Dark Rankings of the Heavenly Secrets Pavilion's Wind and Cloud Leaderboard.
The Wind and Cloud Leaderboard, compiled by the Heavenly Secrets Pavilion, was divided into two lists. The public Wind and Cloud Rankings recorded the top one thousand experts in the Divine Realm based on battle achievements. But there was also a Dark Rankings list — one that only superpowers were permitted to purchase.
The Dark Rankings recorded only one hundred experts. It did not measure battle records; it evaluated only the level of strength each expert demonstrated. Moreover, there was a prerequisite for entry — one had to have reached the Void Realm.
Every top expert who made the Dark Rankings was, without exception, only a single step away from mastering the Domain. And those ranked in the top ten were separated from Domain mastery by the thinnest possible margin. Lei Yuan was precisely such an expert.
Among the Senluo Hall's members present, not one had mastered the Domain. However, when it came to understanding the Domain, no one surpassed Lei Yuan.
Since First Vice Master Lei Yuan was this confident, then nine times out of ten, the conclusion was correct.
"Lei Yuan is right — all of you, calm down," nodded Wan Xiang, who had remained seated the entire time. His icy gaze shifted directly toward Shi Feng. "Notify Elder Fan and the Demon Corps immediately. Lock down the guild headquarters. I want to see just how good they really are!"
Shi Feng's demonstrated combat power was indeed terrifying, but the Senluo Hall was no pushover.
Elder Fan was a Domain master the Senluo Hall had painstakingly recruited. His combat experience far surpassed that of Domain newcomers like Shi Feng, and his weapons and equipment were top-tier of the top-tier. On top of that, the Demon Corps was the Senluo Hall's ultimate weapon.
The Demon Corps numbered only one hundred, but every single member was an expert of at least the Insight Realm. Each one had mastered a minimum of three Battle Techniques, and with the coordination of the Silver Radiance Battle Formation, they had been unstoppable even when facing the Nine Star Great Clan head-on. No mere Domain master could withstand their assault — this was the foundation of the Senluo Hall's confidence in challenging even the top-tier guilds.
The moment Wan Xiang finished issuing his orders and murderous intent erupted to fill the entire hall, Fire Dance and her four companions sprang into action — charging straight toward him.
Against a guard squad whose members could rival Insight-realm experts, Ke Le and Ye Wumin, the two main tanks, led the charge at the forefront like two raging tyrannosaurus rexes. Anyone struck by Ke Le or Ye Wumin was sent flying as though hit by a freight truck. The guards' tight defensive formation shattered instantly, thrown into complete disarray.
Banxia Qingcheng and Jian Ying followed close behind — one blasting targets away with magic, the other repelling several opponents with a single sweep of sword light. The guards rushing in from both flanks were knocked flying one after another. The gap was like that between adults and children…
And Fire Dance had already broken through the guard formation's defensive net, arriving directly in front of Wan Xiang.
