If every boss dropped loot like the Scorching Serpent Woman, making money would be so much easier.
In the Divine Realm, a so-called "big drop" simply meant the boss dropped more items than usual — typically two to three times the normal amount. It was every player's favorite sight.
Unfortunately, in the Divine Realm, aside from a Dungeon First Clear, the chances of a boss triggering a big drop were extremely slim.
That said, the probability did increase based on a player's Luck — though no one knew the exact formula. All they knew was that the higher the Luck, the better the odds.
If Shi Feng could push his Luck above 10, maybe he'd score big drops on high-rank bosses like this again. For players, nothing was more thrilling than scoring high-grade equipment.
Because this was the Flame God Cavern, a big drop from a high-rank boss like the Scorching Serpent Woman was worth more than killing two or three high-rank bosses of the same level.
"Incredible — the Flame Crystals from one Scorching Serpent Woman alone are worth nearly half of everything I earned before." After Shi Feng finished collecting the drops, he realized the haul was truly astonishing.
Earlier, he'd cleared plenty of Level 25 normal mobs, Elites, and Special Elites, gathering a total of 223 Crystals. But the Scorching Serpent Woman had dropped 102 in one go — converted to gold, that was 15 Gold and 30
Compared to Flame Crystals, the real treasures were the equipment and forging blueprints.
"Aren't these the Boots of Flame?" Shi Feng spotted a pair of exquisite fire-red boots. Three dazzling Flame Crystals were set into them, lending them a stunningly magnificent appearance.
Boots of Flame. Plate Armor — Boots. Dark Gold Rank. Level 25. Defense +75, Strength +21, Agility +30, Stamina +15, Movement Speed +8, Fire Resistance +5. Skill: Flame Rush — increases Movement Speed by 100% for 10 seconds. Cooldown: 2 minutes.
This piece of equipment alone was worth over 20 Gold. On top of that, there was a Dark Gold Rank shield.
Light of Day. Shield. Dark Gold Rank. Level 25. Requires 80 Strength. Defense +265, Block Rate 29%, Defense Level +2. Strength +19, Agility +10, Stamina +22. Max HP +15%. Passive Skill: Guardian's Heart — reduces frontal damage by 20% and all other damage by 10%.
Main tank equipment was always expensive, and shields especially so. This one had outstanding stats — it would easily sell for at least 40 Gold.
Additionally, there were seven Mythril Rank items — three Level 25 caster DPS pieces, two Level 25 healer pieces, one Level 25 leather armor piece, and one Level 25 two-handed axe. Each was worth over 3 Gold.
And the most precious find of all — a forging blueprint for the Flame Armor.
It was something Shi Feng had never seen before.
After reading the blueprint's description, Shi Feng was stunned.
The Flame Armor was a Level 25 Mythril plate chest piece. Though its base stats were fairly average, it was an excellent item — especially for a main tank fighting fire-type monsters. It could easily be called the best Level 25 Mythril chest armor.
Used well, the blueprint alone was worth over 100 Gold. However, crafting the Flame Armor required Flame Crystals and rare Mythril Ore, so the production cost wasn't cheap. Still, once crafted, it would be hugely popular — especially for the Level 25 large-scale raid dungeon, the Flame Nest. The results would be nothing short of amazing.
That was because the Flame Armor granted +8 Fire Resistance and reduced Fire Damage by 20% — an effect no other Mythril Rank equipment could match.
Beyond all this equipment, there was also a fire-red Skill Book inscribed with golden divine script. On its cover were four large characters — Flame Burst — the very skill the Scorching Serpent Woman had used.
