"You want us to go to Zero Wing?"
At that moment, not only was Mu Yun surprised, but several senior members of the Hundred Flowers Palace standing behind her also wore expressions of shock.
According to the information they had gathered, Zero Wing Guild's operations had always been concentrated in three regions: the Star Moon Kingdom, the Black Dragon Empire, and the Orc Empire. While there had been some traces of Zero Wing in the Twin Towers Kingdom, the guild had never made any notable impact there.
And yet they needed to visit Zero Wing just to develop their presence in the Twin Towers Kingdom?
"That's right. If you want to develop in the Twin Towers Kingdom, you should have gone to Zero Wing Guild from the very start," Silent Broken Sword nodded. "Or rather, only by seeking out Zero Wing Guild can your Hundred Flowers Palace establish itself in the Twin Towers Kingdom."
"Does Zero Wing actually have that kind of capability?" The Hundred Flowers Palace elders looked at Silent Broken Sword, their faces full of skepticism.
Zero Wing had certainly grown impressive over time, but no matter how you looked at it, the guild had no apparent connection to the Twin Towers Kingdom. It was hard to imagine Zero Wing could be of any help there.
"Of course they do!" Silent Broken Sword said earnestly. "The reason our Assassin Alliance has been able to develop so quickly in the Twin Towers Kingdom is entirely thanks to Zero Wing Guild's help."
"The Twin Towers Kingdom is crawling with Abyssal monsters everywhere. Going out into the wilds is extremely dangerous — you should be well aware of that. Without a way to avoid those Abyssal monsters, it's nearly impossible to develop there. But Zero Wing Guild can erect magic formations that drive the Abyssal monsters away, making them too afraid to approach certain areas."
"Our Assassin Alliance was able to gain a foothold in the Twin Towers Kingdom all because of the magic formations Zero Wing set up. They allowed us to expand with almost no losses, unlike other guilds, which have all suffered heavy casualties in the wilds and naturally can't compete with us."
"Magic formations that repel Abyssal monsters? Zero Wing Guild has that kind of ability?"
As Silent Broken Sword explained, Mu Yun and the others suddenly understood.
In terms of raw resources, the Twin Towers Kingdom was by no means inferior to the Star Moon Kingdom. The only reason it had been rendered useless was the Abyssal invasion. However, the allure of the new classes still drew many players who wanted to establish themselves there.
Possessing magic formations that could drive away the Abyssal monsters meant that a guild could monopolize the Twin Towers Kingdom's treasure trove of resources. The speed of development that implied was self-evident — no wonder the Assassin Alliance had thrived so spectacularly in the Twin Towers Kingdom, to the point where even first-rate guilds couldn't match the second-rate Assassin Alliance's progress there.
If what Silent Broken Sword said was true, then visiting Zero Wing Guild was indeed absolutely necessary.
"Thank you, Guild Master Silent Broken Sword, for sharing such important information," Mu Yun said gratefully. "I'll have someone deliver the five pieces of Epic-grade equipment tomorrow."
Although Silent Broken Sword hadn't provided her with detailed intelligence on the major factions in the Twin Towers Kingdom or a comprehensive overview of the kingdom, the mere revelation about the magic formations that repelled Abyssal monsters was more valuable than all of that information combined.
"Epic-grade equipment isn't necessary. The reason I told you all this is simply because I want an ally in the Twin Towers Kingdom. As for whether you can persuade Guild Master Black Flame, that depends on you — I haven't done anything," Silent Broken Sword said, directly refusing.
"No! The thanks is absolutely deserved, and I also hope Guild Master Silent Broken Sword can help introduce us to Zero Wing Guild," Mu Yun shook her head and said firmly.
She did have some understanding of the Assassin Alliance's current situation in the Twin Towers Kingdom. Because the Alliance had grown so powerful there, several other first-rate guilds had secretly joined forces, which was why the Assassin Alliance had been consistently pushed to the fringes of the kingdom, unable to expand into the central territories.
She understood this clearly as well. If the Assassin Alliance had a strong ally in the Twin Towers Kingdom, it would certainly alleviate some of the pressure on them — and the Hundred Flowers Palace was undoubtedly a good choice. But there was no denying that Silent Broken Sword had done them a favor by sharing this information.
"An introduction?" Silent Broken Sword considered for a moment. "Very well. I'll bring this matter up with Zero Wing afterward. However, I can't guarantee whether it will come to fruition."
