Chapter 1928 – Tier 3 Combat Power

As the Water Ghost squad members on the deck were wiped out, those still fighting Qing Huang and the others couldn't help but draw a sharp breath.

"Just one person? How were they taken out so easily?"

"Wait—her magic output is insane. Even a Tier 2 MT couldn't withstand it!"

"Could that have been a Super Magic?"

Everyone stared at Water Rose, their minds filled with confusion. The Water Ghost members who had obtained the Maritime Legacy received significant boosts to both offense and defense at sea. Combined with their already impressive combat skills, any Tier 2 Class member among them could match top-tier experts.

Yet several Tier 2 members capable of contending with the best had been instant-killed…

"What are you so afraid of? It's just one person! If melee doesn't work, switch to ranged attacks! Eventually she'll run out of stamina and mana!" Lie Huang's brow furrowed as he barked the order.

Having a tough opponent pop up within Zero Wing was certainly troublesome, but they vastly outnumbered the enemy and held an absolute advantage. There was no reason to let one person turn the tide.

As he spoke, another hundred-man squad of the Water Ghost army teleported to Zero Wing's position. Following Lie Huang's command, dozens of ranged Class members unleashed a barrage of attacks aimed at Water Rose. The idea was simple: even if her magic was devastating, facing so many ranged attackers at once would make counterattacking far more difficult. Plus, at this distance, dodging individual spells would be much easier.

In an instant, over a hundred streaks of fire rained toward Water Rose from every direction.

But Water Rose had already finished casting. Her eyes snapped open.

"Go!"

A massive sphere of water materialized in her hands and rose above her head. In the next instant, it erupted into countless pale-blue pillars of water that not only shattered every incoming attack but also shot straight toward the Water Ghost army members.

The speed was terrifying — the pillars tore through the air with sonic booms and appeared before the Water Ghost members in the blink of an eye.

Tier 2 Magic — Cascading Dawn!

Whoosh whoosh whoosh…

Though the Water Ghost members raised defenses and dodged immediately, the water streams were simply too fast. Even hastily erected ice walls were pierced clean through, and the pillars impaled every player they hit, instant-killing anyone caught in their path.

The handful of Water Ghost members who managed to avoid this strike stared at their fallen comrades with sheer terror in their eyes.

But before they could even recover, Water Rose launched her second wave — blades of water dancing through the air, slicing toward them. Facing three to five impossibly fast water blades from every direction, dodging them all was simply impossible. Defense was the only option.

Yet the Cascading Blades' power was extraordinary. They pierced straight through defensive barriers and instantly finished off every remaining Water Ghost member. Not a single one who had charged toward Zero Wing survived.

"How is this possible?!"

The Water Ghost members still fighting in the distance stared at Water Rose, their eyes filled with dread and desperation.

How long had this battle even lasted? Two hundred of the Miracle Guild's proud maritime elite — their trump-card unit at sea — had been annihilated. It was a nightmare, and one that showed no signs of ending. Water Rose used a teleportation scroll to appear right at the center of the clash between the Water Ghost army and Qing Huang's group, then began casting yet another spell.

"You really think you're invincible at sea?" Lie Huang could no longer stand by. He pulled the aquatic-blue longbow from his back and instantly loosed dozens of ice-blue arrows. "Die!"

Every single arrow carried the full power of a peak Tier 2 attack. Dozens of them weaving together would deal devastating damage even to a Grand Lord of the same level.
