Free Mode, in essence, meant granting NPCs complete autonomy and allowing other NPC factions to establish a presence within the guild town. The buildings these NPC factions erected were not subject to player management, and even the guards were dispatched by the NPC factions themselves.
Once a guild town activated Free Mode, players would lose partial jurisdiction over certain areas of the town, but in return, the guild town would gain greater convenience and security.
