"They really are moving fast." Shi Feng watched the video feed where Shui Se Qiangwei looked visibly distressed, and couldn't help but laugh.
He had already predicted the moves of the various major superpowers.
Previously, the big powers had only been somewhat jealous of Silver Wing Town, but Silver Wing Town didn't affect the bigger picture of the Beastman Empire — the scope of guild activities there was limited. Secret Stone Fortress, however, was an entirely different matter.
A fortress's teleportation range essentially defined one's sphere of activity, to say nothing of Secret Stone Fortress being the safest stronghold in the Beastman Empire. Its coverage area even bordered Adamantite Fortress, meaning it could be used as a springboard to seize that fortress as well.
The activity range of a single fortress was already vast. The temptation of controlling two was beyond imagination — especially since the Blackwater Guild had already seized Crimson Flame Fortress, which was making every major superpower grow anxious.
Now that Zero Wing had taken up residence in Secret Stone Fortress, it would be stranger if the big powers did nothing.
"You still have time to joke, Guild Master?" Shui Se Qiangwei said helplessly.
"If we meet them now and make it clear we have no intention of cooperating, that's the same as declaring them our enemies. Better not to meet them at all," Shi Feng said.
"But even if we don't meet them, the result will probably be the same…" Shui Se Qiangwei didn't think this was a good approach. Silence was also a stance, and it might only provoke them further.
"That's exactly why I said we shouldn't meet them now," Shi Feng said with a light laugh. "How's the organization on your end?"
"Almost done here. Everyone can get there within half an hour," Shui Se Qiangwei replied.
"Still half an hour?" Shi Feng thought for a moment. "That's too long. Have everyone gather at Silver Wing Town first and hand things over to Bai Qingxue from there. You head back to Silver Wing Town right now and immediately mobilize the army toward Ancient Rock City!"
"That quickly?" Shui Se Qiangwei exclaimed in surprise.
"The major powers are already in a rush, so naturally we need to pick up the pace," Shi Feng explained. "Besides, if we drag it out, Blackwater and the Beast Emperor might adjust their strategy in response to our moves, and the attack won't be nearly as effective."
"Understood. I'll go organize the army right away." Shui Se Qiangwei nodded and immediately set to work.
Meanwhile, Shi Feng headed back to the Candlelight Trading Company in White River City.
The Hell War Chariots were too large to transport easily, and Shi Feng didn't want too many people to learn about them. He decided to handle the transport himself, carrying one at a time. It worked out perfectly — Shui Se Qiangwei needed time to organize an army of a hundred thousand anyway.
The moment Shui Se Qiangwei returned to Silver Wing Town, she posted an announcement on the guild channel, calling for a hundred thousand elite members to assemble there. The minimum requirement was Level 50 or above, and all participants had to be guild elites.
The announcement sent shockwaves through the entire Zero Wing Guild.
"What's going on? Are we going to fight the Beast Emperor to the death?"
"That's Ancient Rock City! I heard the number of evil beasts inside exceeds a million, not to mention fourth-tier NPCs and loads of fourth-tier legendary evil demons and beasts. We wouldn't even be enough to fill their teeth…"
"Didn't you read the announcement? It's not just a hundred thousand people — the guild also has two hundred small ballistae. Those are weapons of war. Two hundred firing in unison, and even those evil beasts and demons can't handle it. Besides, if the guild is planning to attack Ancient Rock City, they must have other trump cards too."
"Haha, this is amazing! Last time during the big battle, I was just an ordinary guild member. This time, I finally qualify to join the fight!"
