The Tier 2 Berserker who suddenly transformed amidst the horde of demons and evil beasts stunned every member of Zero Wing nearby.
They had seen plenty of burst skills that caused minor changes to one's appearance, but a transformation like this was something they had never encountered before.
The Tier 2 Berserker's aura alone made him an entirely different person — a presence that was not only powerful, but didn't feel remotely human.
But none of that was the most critical part.
The most important thing was the body!
The Tier 2 Berserker now possessed four arms. Humans only had two arms, and the brain had long grown accustomed to controlling just two. Suddenly sprouting four arms and trying to control them was far easier said than done.
Of course, if one could truly master them and adapt to a four-armed fighting style, the advantage would be enormous.
As the saying goes, two fists are no match for four hands.
At the same skill level, a player with four arms would undoubtedly have far more versatile combat options — using two arms for defense while the other two attacked. Compared to the coordinated assault of two people, such attacks would be far more seamless, with better coordination, and could potentially double one's combat power.
This kind of transformation was far more formidable than a simple stat boost, especially when fighting against other players.
Meanwhile, the members of the various major factions observing from within the Ancient Divine Ruins were also completely dumbfounded.
"What the hell is he?"
"Is that some kind of burst skill?"
"Does Divine Realm even have transformation skills like this?"
……
Staring at the suddenly transformed Tier 2 Berserker, the crowd's minds were flooded with curiosity and questions. Even the higher-ups of the superpowers had absolutely no knowledge of something like this. The shock they felt surpassed even that of watching Ke Le and the others hold their own against Legendary monsters.
Because this Tier 2 Berserker's appearance completely shattered their understanding of Divine Realm.
"So it really has come to this," Gu Deng Du Zhan sighed as he watched the transformed Tier 2 Berserker, An Xiong.
This had originally been their greatest secret, known to very few. But now it had been exposed in front of everyone, and there would undoubtedly be trouble in the future.
Still, he wasn't particularly surprised. Huo Wu's combat strength had been extraordinary, and without An Xiong's timely transformation, he would have fallen.
Among everyone present who knew the full story, aside from members of the Dark Hunters like Gu Deng Du Zhan, only Shi Feng — standing atop the walls of Silverwing Town watching the battle — understood it clearly.
This kind of change was called an Aberration in Divine Realm.
It was a completely different method of enhancing combat power from burst skills. This method involved abandoning the human body entirely, gaining nothing but the pure drive to kill. It was somewhat similar to Demonization, except there was no time limit — it could be activated or canceled at will.
However, while any Demon player could achieve Demonization, Aberration was different. Like farming mobs for rare Skill Books, it required completing a certain ritual. This ritual demanded the sacrifice of many players and also required a Dark player — one who was both a Dark player and a hunter of Dark players.
Only under those conditions could one further undergo Aberration. Much like a demon advancing in rank, it carried far more restrictions than Demonization, making such players a rarity even among those aligned with the dark forces.
Moreover, compared to transforming into a demon, this Aberration was far more violent.
Because while in the Aberration state, the body became far better suited for combat and both stats and life-force tier increased, the difficulty of controlling the body also rose dramatically. At the same time, while maintaining this state, the mind became more impulsive and less rational.
But one had to admit — this Aberration could make a player incredibly powerful!
And that was simply the nature of Divine Realm: the stronger an individual became, the lonelier the path grew.
Shi Feng had never expected to encounter an Aberration player at this stage.
Because becoming an Aberration player meant placing oneself on a collision course with all other Dark players — and with ordinary players as well. It was just as reviled as the Temple of the Evil God. Moreover, achieving Aberration was extraordinarily difficult, because it couldn't be accomplished on the Divine Realm's mainland. It only became possible after the Divine Realm's continent had opened up connections to other worlds.
