In the Master Forging Room, as Shi Feng finished speaking...
You Ziping and the others stared at the Advanced Mana Armor Plates on the stone table, their eyes reddening with emotion.
Even though none of them had been front-line fighters in the guild before, they understood just how precious Advanced Mana Armor Plates were.
After all, only Guild Leader Shi Feng could craft them, making their quantity extremely limited. Even guild members found them difficult to obtain — the required guild contribution points were astronomical, one had to first be promoted to Elite member status before they could even be exchanged, and there were purchase limits on top of that.
In the end, very few guild members had ever managed to collect three pieces.
Other major powers had been drooling over them too, scheming to get their hands on some.
Now being told that each of them would be equipped with three Advanced Mana Armor Plates felt like a dream. But thinking about it — wearing a full set of level-50 equipment that rivaled Dark Gold rank gear — well, maybe it wasn't so unbelievable after all.
"This is incredible! These base stats are way too strong!"
"Yeah! My base stats jumped by over thirty percent. I feel like I could take on any of those top-tier experts now!"
After donning their Demonlight Sets and equipping three Advanced Mana Armor Plates each, the group felt like entirely different people. An indescribable surge of power coursed through their bodies, and every one of them itched to test their newfound strength against some top expert right then and there.
Their base stats had risen by over thirty percent, and as for their combat power — that went without saying. It had at least doubled.
"It seems the enhanced Demonlight Sets are working quite well." Shi Feng checked everyone's stats and felt quite satisfied.
With their current base stats, the only people who could match them would be top experts from major superpowers who possessed multiple Epic-rank items. As for other expert players, they'd fall short by a significant margin. And Epic-rank items were extraordinarily rare — players who owned multiple were even rarer still.
This was even stronger than the Conqueror Squad when they activated their Battle Formation.
With main tanks wearing this full Demonlight Set, even without advancing to Tier 2, they could hold their own against High Great Lord level bosses of the same tier. Not to mention fifteen tanks standing shoulder to shoulder like a wall of steel — each with over fifty thousand HP. No attack could hope to pierce that ironclad defense.
"Guild Leader, everyone's gathered. We can head out at any time." Shuise Qiangwei suddenly messaged him.
"Good. We should head over too." Shi Feng checked the time. There wasn't much left before the next opening of the Ancient Divine Ruins.
The Beastman Empire. The Ancient Divine Ruins.
Because players had triggered the new expansion, the ancient tower standing atop the rocky hills had been further unlocked. New restaurants and inns had appeared inside and around the tower — places that hadn't existed before.
Not only could players sample unique local cuisine, but the inns allowed them to rapidly recover their stamina and mental energy. This made the Ancient Divine Ruins one of the few reliable rest stops in the entire Beastman Empire.
The only drawback was the exorbitant prices.
The food was manageable — only two to three times the cost at other NPC cities. But the inns were a different story entirely. The prices were enough to make your blood run dry: forty silver coins per day. Even top-tier experts frowned at that, let alone Elite players.
And yet, despite all that, players continued to flock there in droves.
Just as some players preparing to rest at the Ancient Divine Ruins stepped inside the massive tower, a heavy, oppressive aura washed over them, causing them to freeze in their tracks.
