The moment
There were no books anywhere in this library. The ceiling was studded with countless stars, like a night sky in full bloom. The walls were wrapped in dense shrubbery, forming a spiraling corridor staircase. Streams and small bridges crisscrossed the main hall, while crystalline water spheres rose periodically from the flowing water, hovered for a moment, and then dissipated — a breathtaking sight.
All of these streams flowed from a single source: the enormous water sphere suspended in the center of the hall.
The spectacle was so magnificent that even the library of the Star Moon Kingdom paled in comparison.
"What an incredible library. Everything is controlled entirely by magic water spheres, and the ambient mana is twice as dense as outside. If I practiced spell research here, the efficiency would be two or three times greater." Shi Feng probed the mana in the air and couldn't help but be amazed.
What surprised him, however, was the scarcity of magic-class players. A quick scan revealed only two or three hundred people — far too few for a library of this scale.
What Shi Feng didn't know was that entering Coldwind City's library required a reputation rank of Baron with Coldwind City. Unlike other libraries, where merely holding noble status — even without a title — was sufficient.
If Shi Feng hadn't been sporting his Demon Hunter title, the level-180 NPC guards would have thrown him out before he even crossed the threshold.
He didn't dwell on it. He walked straight to the massive water sphere in the center and began searching for information on Eternal Ice Crystals.
Querying through the magic water sphere was far more convenient than combing through bookshelves.

A first-stage Abyssal was already powerful. Its harmony rating in particular was notably superior to even Epic-grade weapons, though its raw stats still fell slightly short of the very best Epics.
He had considered advancing the Abyssal before, but since he couldn't find Mana Source Crystals anywhere, the weapon had simply gathered dust.
If he could push the Abyssal through another evolution, he would stand a much better chance against the guardian boss of the Ancient God Temple.
Thinking this through, Shi Feng felt even more certain that establishing an adventure team in Coldwind City had been the right call. Trying to gather this many Eternal Ice Crystals on his own in such a short time would have been utterly impossible.
He hurried out of the library and made directly for the Asura Adventure Team's manor.
