Shi Feng looked at Keti Green in surprise, not expecting there to be another option.
Honestly, asking a super guild to gather five million Magic Essence within a month was already an impossible demand. Even obtaining the Source Iron mine vein wouldn't help — let alone a hundred thousand Magic Essence. For anyone else, it would be completely impossible, since not everyone could be lucky enough to obtain a Philosopher's Stone. The main source was still from boss drops in hundred-person dungeons.
"That's right. I need someone to retrieve something for me, but that place is quite special. The higher your level, the more dangerous it is. Since you're only Tier Two, your chances of obtaining that item there are quite high." Keti Green nodded with a light smile. "However, before you go, you must pass a strength assessment."
"My honored Baroness, I'm willing to give it a try." Shi Feng agreed without hesitation.
After all, this was an excellent opportunity to obtain one of the Seven Treasures. He certainly wouldn't let it pass. Compared to gathering the impractical five million Magic Essence, this quest was far more reliable.
However, Keti Green's explanation also made Shi Feng realize something.
The later someone discovered that Keti Green possessed a Seven Treasure, the lower their chances of obtaining it. After all, as Keti Green had said, the higher the level, the more dangerous it was, and the lower the chances of success.
"Good. Please follow me." Keti Green rose and headed toward a dark corridor nearby.
The corridor was deep and narrow, with only the candlelight on the walls barely illuminating the passageway that extended ever downward. The deeper they went, the colder it became.
After walking for a full ten minutes or more, Keti Green finally arrived at a large iron door that was locked tight.
The entire door was covered in frost, and even with Shi Feng's high Ice Resistance, he couldn't help but feel chilled to the bone. Players with lower Ice Resistance would likely freeze to death from the cold here.
"Not bad. To withstand this cold environment on your own without my help — that counts as passing the first test." Keti Green looked at Shi Feng, who appeared entirely unaffected, and nodded. "Next is the second test — the combat assessment."
As she spoke, a silver-white magical scroll appeared in her hand. She unrolled it and began chanting.
Instantly, a silver-white magic circle formed in front of Keti Green. Violent magical energy surged inward, coalescing at the circle's center into a humanoid figure roughly three meters tall, clad in gleaming silver armor, a massive sword radiating waves of cold air strapped to its back. Its eyes, unlike those of an ordinary person, burned with green flames.
Hell Knight. Undead creature. Great Lord. Level 57. HP: 15 million.
"All you need to do is defeat this Hell Knight, and you'll pass the second test." Keti Green pointed at the Hell Knight and spoke.

Before Shi Feng could even finish reading the system prompt, the Hell Knight let out a furious roar, drew the great sword from its back, and charged directly at him, leaving no time to prepare.
At a distance of less than twenty yards, a Great Lord-class Hell Knight could cross the gap in the blink of an eye. It swung the massive sword with both hands, the blade splitting into three silver streaks that descended upon Shi Feng. The entire sequence flowed like water, as if performed by a battle-hardened veteran — not a single wasted motion.
"High-level AI!"
Shi Feng was mildly surprised by the incoming sword light. He had originally thought he'd only be dealing with a weakened Great Lord, but the Hell Knight's combat skills were clearly beyond those of an ordinary Great Lord — it had already reached the threshold of Half-Step Mastery. Many top players from major guilds probably couldn't match it.
But the Holy Sword Thunder Slayer was already in Shi Feng's hand.
