A three-story building as large as a football field — the Adventurer's Guild had suddenly appeared before everyone, and the players on the street stood there dumbfounded.
"The Adventurer's Guild?"
"How can the Adventurer's Guild be here? Am I seeing things?"
Everyone stared at the Guild, their whole bodies trembling. None of them could believe it was real.
The Adventurer's Guild had grown increasingly important in the Divine Realm. For many players, their main source of income depended on the Guild's daily tasks — and that was precisely why so many of them could never bring themselves to leave NPC towns.
Now that the Adventurer's Guild had suddenly set up in Stone Forest Town, countless players were finally freed from that constraint. Levelling up and earning money had just become far easier.
With that thought, quite a few curious players headed inside.
"Holy crap, it's real!"
The moment they stepped into the first-floor lobby, they found the layout nearly identical to the Adventurer's Guild in NPC towns. A number of NPCs were busy posting tasks in the mission area. If there was any real difference, it was the quantity — there were considerably more tasks than in the town-based Guilds.
"Come look at this! They've got daily town tasks here, plus a bunch of high-level ones!" a player who had reached the mission area first exclaimed.
His words immediately drew the attention of everyone present, and they quickly gathered around.
"This is insane! The daily town task rewards are even richer than the ones in NPC towns, and the quest locations aren't far from Stone Forest Town at all. You could knock one out in two hours max — faster still if you've got a mount."
Eyes lit up as the crowd pored over the daily town tasks.
Usually, completing a town's daily tasks took over three hours. The biggest time sink was travelling — actually doing the quest only took about half an hour. But whenever players went to do dailies, they would pick up additional tasks in that area and only return to town to turn in the daily once everything was done.
News of the Adventurer's Guild spread like wildfire, quickly sweeping through all of Stone Forest Town. Many players who had been planning to return to NPC towns for Guild dailies now flocked to the Stone Forest Town branch instead.
The official forums were buzzing with discussion.
"Players who own homes in Stone Forest Town have it even better now — the Guild is right there! Doing tasks is going to be a dream!"
"Hopefully the private housing prices won't be too crazy tomorrow. Our team finally scraped together a thousand gold…"
"That's hard to say. The mana density is already incredibly high — even resting in a private space lets you stockpile double experience faster than at a guild base out in the open. Now that private spaces can be upgraded and there's a Guild on top of that, prices going down is basically impossible. And don't forget how fast Stone Forest Town is developing. They've already gotten the Guild — before long it'll probably become a high-tier town, and then housing prices could rival major NPC cities."
"True. Now's still the cheaper window. If Stone Forest Town really ranks up to high-tier… just thinking about it is terrifying…"
…
Thanks to the Guild's appearance, adventure parties that had been sitting on the fence sprang into action. They rushed to sell off stockpiled rare materials and unneeded weapons and equipment, and some were even willing to spend Credit Points in bulk to buy gold — terrified they wouldn't have enough tomorrow to secure housing in Stone Forest Town.
Meanwhile, many hesitant adventurers in the surrounding kingdoms also made their moves, heading straight for Stone Forest Town one after another.
After all, its advantages were simply too great. It was hands down the number-one town among the neighbouring countries — bar none.
