"As expected of a place where gods once lived — the drops here are even more terrifying than the Tower of Space and Time."
The Tower of Space and Time was one of the two most famous towers in the
A Shura-rank zone dungeon!
The Stone Fang Mountains were the same type of content, but there was still a massive gap between the two. The Tower of Space and Time yielded the
Now, though, the
Seven Luminaries Fragments had no practical use on their own, but they could be sold to NPCs for a steep price — a single fragment would fetch one gold coin, which spoke volumes about their value.
However, any player who obtained a Seven Luminaries Fragment would never sell it.
That was because Seven Luminaries Fragments could be synthesized into Seven Luminaries Crystals, though doing so required an
After all, a Seven Luminaries Crystal could expand a player's mental space, and nobody was foolish enough to sell that away and give up building their own leisure and recreation space.
At the thought of this, Shi Feng felt a surge of motivation for clearing the magical beasts out of the Medicine Garden.
An opportunity like this simply couldn't be found on the outside. Normally, only extremely dangerous special secret realms and boss kills would drop Seven Luminaries Fragments or Crystals. Here, even Second-rank Lord monsters dropped them — it was practically a Seven Luminaries Fragment giveaway.
After resting for a brief moment, Shi Feng went to lure more Silver Moon Magic Rats.
Compared to the first time, this round was much easier. He only lured two over instead of fighting three at once, which had put enormous pressure on the Battle Axe Demon before, forcing it to rely entirely on the Ring of Water's Life Blossom just to stay alive.
Now the Battle Axe Demon didn't have to focus purely on defense. It could counterattack two or three times between blocks, speeding up the damage output considerably.
Meanwhile, Shi Feng attacked the Silver Moon Magic Rats' weak points like mad from behind. Whenever the Battle Axe Demon's health dropped dangerously low, he used Life Blossom to heal it.
And so he farmed the Silver Moon Magic Rats wave after wave.
Over twenty waves in a row, each taking a little over ten minutes. Though the process was monotonous, Shi Feng grew more adept with each run. He became increasingly familiar with the Silver Moon Magic Rats' attack patterns and weaknesses, and his kill speed kept accelerating.
The rewards were pretty good, too.
In total, he killed forty-seven Silver Moon Magic Rats and obtained twenty-one Seven Luminaries Fragments. The drop rate was much higher than he'd expected.
For others, the synthesis success rate was only 30%, but for Shi Feng, who possessed the Philosopher's Stone, it was a full 100%. He only needed to collect fifty Seven Luminaries Fragments to guarantee the synthesis of one Seven Luminaries Crystal.
If he kept farming like this, he might even be able to gather all the Seven Luminaries Crystals needed for the Four Elemental Tower.
"Why does fighting here consume so much stamina?"
After finishing off yet another wave of Silver Moon Magic Rats, Shi Feng suddenly felt his body growing sluggish.
In the Divine Realm, a player's stamina was critically important. Once it dropped to a certain threshold, the player would start feeling fatigued, and their combat effectiveness would suffer. As it continued to deplete, their power would weaken further and further, until eventually, with stamina completely spent, they could no longer move at all.
That was why players who fought in the wild always alternated between fighting and resting — partly to maintain peak condition, and partly to ensure they had enough stamina to handle unexpected situations.
Shi Feng had anticipated this before the battle and kept the [Junior Tyrant] title active the entire time. Not only did it increase his resilience by 30 points, but it also boosted his maximum stamina by 20%. Even so, after only about a dozen rounds, his stamina had already reached the warning threshold — exceeding his expectations by a wide margin.
"I've been farming for so long, and I've only managed to kill a little over forty Silver Moon Magic Rats. This quest's difficulty really is no joke." After drinking a Life Essence potion, Shi Feng couldn't help but glance at the Silver Moon Magic Rats scattered across the distant Medicine Garden, a bitter smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "Looks like I miscalculated this time. Thank goodness this job change quest has no time limit."
Forget about clearing every last magical beast from the Medicine Garden — just carving a path into the interior of the Divine Court would take who knew how long.
