This hidden quest was to help the current inheritor, Rodney, become an Engineering Master.

In the Divine Realm, a Bronze-grade speedboat was worth as much as an Epic-tier item.
An ordinary speedboat could hold two small squads and was 20% faster than the best fishing boats. It also came with an acceleration skill and a passive ability to cut through waves—truly an essential item for maritime adventures.

An ordinary person would assume the young shop assistant was just a regular clerk, but he was actually Rodney's apprentice. If you couldn't get past the apprentice, there was no way you'd ever meet Rodney.
To meet Rodney, they had poured considerable effort into it, spending a full four days gradually increasing their favorability rating before finally being recommended by the apprentice to help Rodney fulfill his ambition.
