Half a day later, inside a heavily warded secret chamber somewhere on the Sacred Island, sat cross-legged on a meditation cushion. Before him, a pale yellow sphere of light hovered gently in the air, and within it a fist-sized, light-yellow gourd could faintly be seen.

This was none other than one of the three top-grade treasures had obtained from Qiling's Secret Treasury.

The azure ancient halberd had been given to Silver Moon.

The last top-grade treasure was that "Ink Spirit Sacred Vessel."

Of these, the azure ancient halberd had been forged by fusing in a fragment of an unknown Profound Treasure, granting it several incredibly bizarre powers that combined gold and wood attributes.

The Ink Spirit Sacred Vessel was not only enormous in size with astonishing escape speed, but also possessed the tremendous divine ability to tear through the void. Compared to its reputation as one of the top three flying treasures in the Demon Realm, it was truly deserving of its name.

Only this yellow gourd remained a mystery. Crafted from an unknown material, it naturally possessed the ability to absorb spiritual sense, and the lid at its mouth appeared to be fused tightly onto the gourd itself — completely impossible to open by ordinary means.

For a time, was unable to discern what exactly was contained inside, let alone discover the true purpose of this treasure.

However, when he grasped the upper half of the gourd and gently shook it, a deep rumbling sound came from within, suggesting that whatever was inside was almost certainly no ordinary thing.

The gourd's mysterious nature naturally piqued 's curiosity.

When he had first obtained this item in the Demon Realm, he had simply swallowed it straight into his abdomen, refining it day and night with his true essence.

Now, after so many days of refinement, the treasure had finally been largely subdued, and it should now be possible to truly open it.

stared at the gourd with flashing light in his eyes for a moment, then formed a one-handed seal. Ten fingers flicked outward in rapid succession.

A flurry of "pu pu" sounds erupted!

Densely packed, five-colored rune symbols shot forth, flickering once before vanishing into the gourd without a trace.

"Open!"

murmured a low command, one hand forming an extremely peculiar dharma seal. Then, with a flash of golden light behind him, a golden phantom with three heads and six arms materialized. Between its brows, a wisp of black qi surged forth, condensed, and took the form of a pitch-black dharma eye.

After the dharma eye flickered wildly with black light, a sharp whistling sound broke through the air as a strand of pitch-black crystalline thread shot from the eye and wound around the mouth of the gourd.

The entire gourd trembled, and the lid rolled off the top on its own with a clattering sound.

A tremendous rumbling erupted!

Specks of yellow light surged out from within, instantly transforming into a dense mass of earth-yellow sand grains.

Each grain was remarkably crystalline, with faint wisps of yellow qi swirling around it.

With such a vast quantity emerging all at once, they formed a cloud of earth-yellow sand mist roughly ten feet across, hovering high in the air in an utterly inconspicuous manner.

initially showed a hint of surprise, but after sweeping his spiritual sense through the yellow sand mist, his expression shifted to genuine astonishment.

"Blazing Evil Vajra Sand — it's actually this kind of treasure, and it's been carefully refined once more, seemingly fused completely with this gourd. That Qiling Sacred Ancestor must have been quite something to have gathered so much of this rare material," muttered to himself, unable to resist reaching out toward the yellow sand mist with an open hand.

A sharp "chi chi" sound rang out as an invisible wave of suction instantly swept toward the sand mist.

With a deep "boom," pinpoints of crystalline light flashed within the mist. Every grain of sand spun rapidly, converging into a single crystalline sand sphere that instantly became extraordinarily heavy.

Once the sand sphere formed, the sand mist became overwhelmingly dense and heavy, moving only a short distance before being forcefully halted in place.

Seeing this, couldn't help but show a trace of emotion.

The grasp he had just unleashed hadn't employed even a tenth of his physical body's true strength, yet its power was such that even a Body Integration stage existence wouldn't dare take it head-on — yet it had been unable to budge a mere sand sphere.

This truly demonstrated the bizarre nature of the Blazing Evil Vajra Sand.

As someone who had learned of this rare material from certain ancient texts, knew that the sand's most fearsome aspect lay not in this, but in two other terrifying powers.

"This is quite an unexpected bonus! However, this treasure can only display its full power in my hands. Anyone else — even that Qiling Sacred Ancestor — probably couldn't bring out even half of its true might." A smile crept across 's lips as he spoke a few words to himself. He then waved the gourd through the air, drawing it into his hand, and chanted softly while raising the gourd toward the distant sand mist.

A soft "pfft" sounded!

The sand sphere dissolved on its own, merging back into the rolling sand mist.

The sand mist blurred, then transformed into a massive yellow serpent that lunged toward the gourd.

A rumble from within the pale yellow gourd sucked the yellow serpent inside in a single gulp. At the same time, colorful light swirled around the top of the gourd, and the lid that had fallen off earlier somehow reappeared on top, looking exactly as it had before.

With a flick of his sleeve, golden light swept in a curl, and the gourd vanished from his hand.

After putting away the treasure, settled into stillness within the secret chamber, closing his eyes to meditate and regulate his breathing.

An hour later, when he opened his eyes once more, he flicked his wrist, and a pitch-black circular ring shot out soundlessly.
