Only then did Han Li focus his gaze downward, and he noticed that a bizarre insect resembling a longhorn beetle had appeared on the water's surface at some unknown point. It was more than a dozen zhang long, its entire crystalline body seemingly formed from solidified liquid, covered from head to tail with eyeballs of all sizes. The mere sight of it sent an involuntary chill cascading through one's entire body.
The sinister voice had clearly emanated from this monstrous insect. When its two extraordinarily long antennae touched each other together, a continuous rumbling erupted as bolt after bolt of gray-white lightning appeared between them, crackling and twisting wildly.

Han Li stared at the monstrous insect and the gray-white lightning hovering above it with a grave expression. After his thoughts raced through several possibilities, he abruptly raised his head and turned his gaze toward Bao's position to one side.
He could see Bao forming hand seals ceaselessly, driving the colossal pillar that the Earth Emperor Nail had transformed into into a fierce battle against that enormous claw in the sky.
Although the enormous claw raged violently on that side, its master remained hidden within the rolling gray clouds high above, not revealing a trace of their form.
With a single flesh claw, it was contending against a Profound Heaven Treasure transformed into a giant pillar, yet it actually seemed to hold a slight advantage.
The moment Han Li saw the claw, fragments of the broken weapons he had previously seen in the array-eye chamber involuntarily surfaced in his mind.
Apart from the vast difference in size, they were otherwise identical.
It seemed those things were most likely the handiwork of this very claw.

With a clap of thunder, the Crab Daoist materialized behind Han Li, his entire body wreathed in silver lightning arcs, and spoke in a calm voice.
This quasi-immortal puppet had apparently received some instruction from Han Li, for it had quietly concealed itself from the very moment the battle began, only now materializing from the void in response.
The instant the Crab Daoist appeared, he rolled on the spot.
With a thunderous boom!
A colossal golden crab wreathed in crackling lightning materialized in the air, spanning an area of roughly a thousand mu, raising its two enormous pincers with a powerful motion.
Thunder boomed deafeningly!
Dense clusters of lightning spheres rapidly coalesced and rained down like a torrential storm upon the translucent monstrous insect below.
These lightning spheres were clearly far different from ordinary arcs of lightning. Not only was each one enormous in size, but countless silver-white runic patterns flickered faintly within the electric light dancing across their surfaces.
Upon seeing this, the monstrous insect seemed to fly into a rage. With a bizarre shriek, its two long antennae whipped violently, sending countless gray-white lightning arcs bursting forth. These transformed into innumerable streaks of electricity that pierced straight toward the lightning spheres, and the two forces collided.
For a moment, the two types of lightning exploded against each other along a shared boundary, their destructive power seemingly evenly matched.
Gray lightning and silver arcs intertwined into a chaotic web, causing the entire void to shudder and grow faintly scorching to the touch.
The golden crab's body was astonishingly massive, yet its legs moved with incredible speed, its form blurring as it darted across the sky unpredictably, continuously unleashing lightning spheres without ever making direct contact with its opponent.
The translucent giant insect was equally ghost-like in its flickering, appearing and disappearing at random. Between its flashes, bolt after bolt of gray-white lightning shot forth, shattering the incoming lightning spheres one after another.
As for its most formidable psychic technique, it had already unleashed it long ago, but against a puppet, it was like playing a lute for a cow — utterly useless.
On the other side, Han Li brandished the emerald longsword in his hand. With a long, piercing cry, his three-headed, six-armed dharmic manifestation materialized once again. At the same time, enormous arcs of sword light converged into a colossal mountain-shaped sword shadow that slashed straight toward the giant claw.
Seeing this, Bao's spirits soared. With a clear cry, the crown of their head suddenly split open, and a massive pink lotus bearing a small pink figure burst forth.
The small figure opened its mouth and spat out a pink ring of light. As it met the wind, it expanded into a crystalline giant ring that shot straight toward the rolling gray miasma high in the sky, pressing down upon it.
The master of the giant claw had likely been hiding within it all along.
