Chapter 2051: Battle in the Demon Realm — Encounter with the Primal Wilderness

BOOM!

The demonic qi that had been surging wildly from the jade coffin suddenly reversed course after a thunderous boom, sweeping back into the black coffin.

In the span of a few breaths, not a wisp of the dark energy that had filled the entire grand hall remained.

The patterns inscribed on the jade coffin's surface flared to life, radiating a dazzling white light. The coffin itself was pitch-black, and under the interplay of black and white, it gave off a suffocating, eerie sensation.

However, this flickering radiance lasted only a few breaths before dimming dramatically.

At that moment, a faint humming emanated from within the jade coffin. Several hundred silver ancient characters shot out from behind it, spiraled through the air, and suddenly condensed into six enormous, shimmering silver phantoms.

Some of these phantoms were exceptionally tall and imposing, clad entirely in armor, while others were slender and graceful, with twin horns sprouting from their heads — each one the image of a humanoid demon.

These silver phantoms appeared only for the briefest instant. With a flash, they dissolved into motes of silver light and vanished into thin air.

The next moment, a moan came from within the jade coffin. An arm wrapped entirely in black armor suddenly rose up from inside, followed by a slender, dark-armored warrior who slowly stood up from the jade coffin!

This warrior was not only shrouded in an ancient suit of black battle armor, but a mask bearing the grotesque image of a green-faced, fanged visage covered the face, revealing only a pair of pale blue eyes within — clear as still water.

"Sister Liuj, is your physical body all right? How much of your true form's power can this incarnation manifest?" As soon as Yuansha saw the female warrior rise, she asked with concern.

"Although I'm still somewhat suppressed in this realm, I can exert roughly twenty percent of my true body's strength. That should be more than enough to handle any opponent below the Mahayana stage," the female warrior replied with a light laugh, stretching her limbs.

"Twenty percent — that's certainly enough to run roughshod over the human race. Sister, you've awakened at the perfect time. I've run into a spot of trouble recently and could use your help," Yuansha said, her expression relaxing visibly upon hearing this.

"Trouble? What trouble? Hmm — you don't seem to be alone. Who from our Holy Race is in that Universe Disk beside you? Could it be that old fool Poison Dragon has descended to the Spirit Realm as well?" The female warrior swept her gaze outward, immediately noticing the massive jade disc beside the stone hall, and asked with a trace of surprise.

"It's not Poison Dragon — it's several of Blood Light's incarnations operating that treasure. And right now, he and I are working together to hunt down a human cultivator. That man actually possesses the Demon-Suppressing Lock, the Purple Flame Cauldron, and the Chaos Twin Qi among other great treasures!" Yuansha replied without hesitation.

"The Demon-Suppressing Lock, the Chaos Twin Qi? Now that's interesting — I'm rather intrigued. Tell me the full story," the female warrior said, her eyes flashing with a hint of surprise while her voice remained perfectly calm.

"Here's what happened. I originally came at the behest of another of your incarnations to stop a human operation that threatened the Holy Race. But when I arrived at the site, I discovered..." Yuansha nodded and slowly began to recount the events.

"...and so we have no choice but to keep pursuing that human brat. Blood Light is clearly unreliable. Once we actually catch up to that human cultivator, something will likely erupt between him and me."

It took the better part of a cup of tea before she had finished relating the general outline of events. She let out a long breath and smiled bitterly.

"Listening to you, it seems Blood Light must have some hidden card up his sleeve — otherwise how would he dare harbor such designs against you? His method of borrowing bodies to create incarnations in the Spirit Realm is far weaker than your direct descent through an incarnation. But don't worry. Now that I've awakened at this moment, I have no intention of standing idly by. The Chaos Twin Qi would be of great benefit to us Holy Ancestors — it would be far too wasteful to let it fall into Blood Light's hands. Besides, I brought quite a quantity of demon crystals with me when I descended, more than enough to replenish your Magical Power," the female warrior said after listening, her tone mild.

"Wonderful. With Sister's help, I naturally have nothing left to worry about." Yuansha looked extremely pleased.

...

One month later, a vast mountain range shrouded in thick gray mist appeared before Han Li.

The mist was not only extraordinarily dense but towered all the way to the heavens, merging seamlessly with the sky, stretching on without any visible boundary.

At this moment, Han Li sat cross-legged inside a triangle-shaped azure flying chariot, eyes closed, holding a spirit stone of the highest grade in each hand as he quietly regulated his breathing.

Just as the azure rainbow that the chariot had become drew ever closer to the mountain range, Han Li seemed to sense something. His brow twitched, and he slowly opened his eyes.

"So I've finally arrived. This must be the legendary Southern Heaven's End — a prohibition formed by the super grand formation that has sheltered the human race all these years. If the two realms hadn't begun to merge, weakening the formation's power considerably, passing through here would have been no easy feat indeed," Han Li murmured to himself before closing his eyes again, his expression cool and composed.

But the flying chariot showed no intention of stopping. With a few flickers, it plunged into the mist without the slightest hesitation.

Half a day later, the stone hall and the massive jade disc arrived at the same location, flying side by side.

Yuansha and Blood Light, who were controlling the two treasures, each revealed themselves upon seeing this. After exchanging a few words, they similarly urged their treasures into the mist.

For them, having already driven Han Li this far, there was absolutely no question of giving up. Even knowing full well that the Primal Wilderness was fraught with peril, they had no choice but to follow close behind.
