Before the mountain actually struck the coral formations, it had already unleashed a thunderous roar.
Wherever the gray radiance passed, every reef rock trembled and crumbled into powder. The nearby seawater churned and surged under the tremendous pressure, and waves hundreds of zhang tall instantly formed before rushing outward in all directions.
After just a short while, the sea nearby parted, and two masses of demonic energy—one red, one blue—suddenly shot up from below. From within one came an angry shout:
"Who dares cause trouble at our doorstep! Don't you know this is the residence of Lord Baoguang?"
Hearing this, Han Li said nothing. He merely extended a finger and casually pointed downward at the mountain.
The gray radiance beneath it swept in a flash, instantly engulfing both masses of demonic energy. After flickering violently several times, two agonized screams rang out from within. The creatures inside had self-detonated within the gray haze, transforming into rain of blood that vanished without a trace.
They were merely sixth-tier sea beasts—Han Li couldn't be bothered with them.
The next instant, the mountain crashed solidly onto the sea surface.
A colossal vortex over a li in diameter immediately materialized, warped by the force of the Primordial Magnetism Divine Light. The surrounding seawater spun violently like the roar of demons, turning the nearby surface completely upside down.
Deep beneath the waves, countless fish and shrimp fled in panic in every direction, interspersed with over a dozen sea beasts of unknown species, each over a zhang long.
Han Li's unrestrained display of the Myriad Depths Divine Mountain's power finally drew a furious roar from beneath the sea. Five streams of black energy shot out from the edge of the vortex. The leading stream rolled and solidified into a tall, powerfully built man with fleshy tumors on his head, clad in blue bone armor and wielding a pair of black hammers.
Han Li let a cold smile play at the corners of his mouth. Before the man could even speak, he urged the mountain forward.
The thousand-zhang peak shuddered and vanished. At nearly the same instant, the blue-armored man felt his head go dark. He looked up in alarm, only to see a vast black mass descending upon them—the Myriad Depths Divine Mountain had already appeared directly overhead, plummeting with terrifying force.
Before it had even gotten close, a tremendous wind had already blown him off balance.
The man turned pale with fright. Without even sparing a glance at Han Li, he frantically hurled both hammers at the mountain, then rolled across the ground and transformed into a blue flood dragon over ten zhang long, fleeing in a flash.
Two muffled bangs rang out. Though the black hammers had grown to several zhang in size, they struck the mountain without so much as scratching it. With a sweep of gray radiance, both hammers lost control and plummeted downward.
The dragon hadn't gotten far either. After flying barely thirty-odd zhang, a flash of gray light struck it, and its body shuddered, rendering it completely immobile.
At this moment, Han Li expressionlessly pointed another finger at the mountain.
The peak spun in the air with a whoosh, and an invisible colossal force immediately manifested beneath its base. Within the gray radiance, the blue flood dragon managed only a single terrified scream before its body was crushed into a heap of flesh, leaving only an enormous dragon head intact.
Though flood dragons were among the most physically formidable of all demon beasts, how could an eighth-level sea dragon hope to withstand the might of the Myriad Depths Divine Mountain?
The creature hadn't even gotten a clear look at Han Li's face before its physical body was destroyed.
But the Primordial Spirit that had fortunately survived within the dragon head employed some desperate technique. The head blazed with intense blue light, broke free from the gray radiance's restraint, and fled for its life.
At that very moment, a silver fire bird screamed down from the heavens. Its speed was so great that it struck the dragon head in a mere flash.
Another shrill scream rang out. A small green flood dragon burst from the head, attempting to escape, but the silver flames flashed and instantly reduced it to nothing. Only an empty dragon head remained, floating quietly in the air.
This was, of course, the result of Han Li deliberately controlling the Spirit Devouring Heavenly Fire to preserve it.
As for the other four sea beasts within the black energy, the instant the mountain had spun, they had already been reduced to blood mist without the slightest resistance—even their spirit souls had not survived.
Having killed five demons in one sweep, Han Li smiled faintly and waved his hand. The dragon head immediately flew toward him, drawn into his palm.
He spread his five fingers and lifted the massive head with ease.
After narrowing his eyes to examine it for a moment, a flash of white light crossed his hand, and the dragon head vanished—stowed away in his storage bracelet.
His dark palm patted the void toward the mountain. The thousand-zhang Myriad Depths Divine Mountain blurred, faded into a phantom, and finally vanished from the void without a trace.
Having retracted the mountain, Han Li flicked his sleeve and turned to leave.
But his gaze swept over the enormous vortex that still hadn't dissipated below, and after a brief hesitation, he abruptly changed his mind.
Azure light erupted from his body as he transformed into an azure rainbow and shot into the vortex.
Wherever the rainbow passed, all the seawater parted on its own. After only a short while, he appeared before a small underwater mountain beneath the coral formations.
Han Li glanced at the mountain calmly, then flicked a finger toward its midsection. A streak of golden sword light shot forth and vanished into the void with a flash.
A thunderous boom erupted. First, a burst of gold-and-blue blinding light exploded outward, followed by a layer of blue radiance that appeared—only to shatter inch by inch in the explosion.
A white coral gate was revealed at the mountainside.
Han Li smiled faintly. This should be Lord Baoguang's cave dwelling.
