Hehe, I finally received my Bambook! Now this is some good stuff!
The package was sealed really well — it took me quite a bit of effort to tear it open.
At first glance, I really loved the Bambook's color and design. It's white, flat, rectangular — looks very comfortable and quite stylish.
Given my impatient nature, I naturally wasn't going to bother reading any instruction manual. The only accessory was a cable anyway.
I picked up the cable, looked at both ends, then glanced at my computer and the Bambook. Without a second thought, I plugged one end into the slot on the side of the Bambook and the other straight into my computer's USB port.
It was really convenient — immediately a little red light on the bottom of the Bambook lit up.
The power button symbol — even a simple-minded guy like me could recognize it at a glance.
Once I turned it on, the screen lit up and the introductory text began.
It was completely foolproof. I fumbled through the instructions for a while, and before long I'd figured out most of it. Then I went into the bookshelf, picked a random book, and gave it a try.
The black text was very clear — practically the same feeling as reading a physical book.
This thing is really light. When you hold it in your hand, you barely feel it.
Most importantly, according to the specs, it can stay on standby for over ten days — plenty long enough.
Of course, this thing can also go online.
Hehe, I really like this device. From now on, whenever I go on a long trip, I'll definitely be bringing it with me.
