Two updates today.

Whether it was Feng Biao or Yu Mo, both clearly considered themselves above associating with the rank-and-file demons based on their status and cultivation. They were also quite confident in their own strength, which was why they had maintained this delicate distance from Yang Kai.
This gave Yang Kai his opening.
With a soft hum, the power of wind and lightning surged. Behind Yang Kai, wind-lightning wings spread open in a dazzling and extravagant display.
The wings beat once, and his already impressive speed skyrocketed. An Ling'er, whom he was pulling along, couldn't help but squint as she channeled her True Essence to resist the gale rushing against them. Their clothes snapped and flapped violently, and their hair whipped behind them.
In a single instant, they shot beyond the range of Feng Biao and Yu Mo's Divine Sense.
An Ling'er let out a soft exclamation. Though this wasn't the first time she'd seen Yang Kai deploy his wind-lightning wings — he had used them before while escaping the pursuit of Nan Shenggu — no matter how many times she witnessed it, the beauty of those wings still mesmerized her.
Such wings shouldn't belong to a man; they should be possessed by a woman.
Even the way she looked at Yang Kai shifted — he seemed remarkably dashing in this moment.
An Ling'er bit her red lip gently, gazing at Yang Kai's profile, her eyes becoming slightly unfocused. Her slender body leaned involuntarily closer to him as she wrapped her arms around one of his.
"Hey, can you save your daydreaming for a time when the situation isn't so critical?" Yang Kai immediately noticed her odd behavior and shot her a glare. The astonishing resilience and softness he felt against his elbow nearly caused his composure to crack.
An Ling'er's face flushed red. "I wasn't! Don't talk nonsense. I just think the outside world is so exciting. It's completely different from what I imagined back in the Holy Land."
Ever since meeting Yang Kai, An Ling'er's days had become thrilling. That thrill both frightened and excited her. It seemed as long as Yang Kai was by her side, no matter how dire the danger, everything would turn out fine.
"Ordinary people don't get to live such exciting lives!" Yang Kai scoffed, his wings beating ceaselessly as his body streaked like a rainbow, accelerating with every moment.
The demons who had been pursuing him from behind all saw dramatic changes in their expressions. They had still been able to spot Yang Kai, but in that brief instant, they completely lost sight of him.
Among the pursuing group, two or three Entered Saint Realm experts also looked stunned. Not daring to slack off, they immediately increased their speed and gave chase.
The next moment, two figures flew overhead in rapid succession — it was Feng Biao and Yu Mo, who had sensed something wrong and boosted their speed.
Both wore especially grave expressions. Yu Mo in particular only now realized that even during the life-and-death battle against Di Xiao, Yang Kai had been holding back.
With this jaw-dropping speed alone, Yang Kai could have toyed with Di Xiao effortlessly. Yet he had only revealed it now — clearly a calculated move, making him nearly impossible to guard against.
It had caused Yang Kai to escape his Divine Sense detection range in the blink of an eye.
"That little brat!" Yu Mo's face twisted with embarrassment as he cursed under his breath and pushed himself harder.
Another hour passed, and the demons who had been trailing behind finally slowed their pursuit. They had completely lost track of where Yang Kai and those Entered Saint Realm experts had gone. Without a target, there was nothing to chase. One by one, their heads hung low, sighing and groaning as they headed back toward Sand City.
Two thousand li from Sand City, Yang Kai's expression was grim.
He realized he had still underestimated the methods of Entered Saint Realm experts. Despite deploying his wind-lightning wings and temporarily shaking off their Divine Sense, they had somehow found a way to pinpoint his location yet again, sticking to his heels relentlessly.
The Demon Territory was vast, and Yang Kai wasn't sure if he was heading in the right direction. He could only seek out desolate, uninhabited routes to flee through, hoping to make it out of the Demon Territory successfully.
His powerful and abundant Divine Sense proved critical at this moment. While his physical cultivation was only at the second level of the Transcendent Realm, his Divine Sense was on par with Entered Saint Realm experts.
Compared to Feng Biao and Yu Mo, he was at least equal, perhaps even slightly superior.
With this advantage, Yang Kai could avoid densely populated areas, preventing discovery by other demons and the unnecessary trouble that would bring.
After such a prolonged chase, Yang Kai was starting to feel the strain. Both his physical stamina and mental energy were being depleted at an alarming rate. An Ling'er looked even worse — clearly exhausted beyond her limits.
They fled, stopped, and fled again, but could never shake off Feng Biao and Yu Mo. The other Entered Saint Realm experts had given up chasing Yang Kai after just a few days, but those two were like mad dogs, clamped onto Yang Kai's tail and refusing to let go, driving him to the edge of his patience.
And those two who had originally been hostile toward each other seemed to have gradually found common ground through this shared pursuit.
Half a month passed. A month passed...
Yang Kai had led An Ling'er across more than a hundred thousand li through the Demon Territory. The demonic qi in the air was gradually thinning, which invigorated Yang Kai's spirits. He felt quietly confident that his direction was correct — if he kept fleeing this way, he would surely leave the Demon Territory.
Once he was out, Feng Biao and Yu Mo would have no choice but to give up the chase.
