Not long after he set off, a surprised shout came from the side: "Senior Brother Yang!"

Yang Kai glanced over and saw Li Yuntian waving at him, his face full of enthusiasm. He had set up a stall of his own as well, displaying all sorts of miscellaneous items — some medicinal herbs and a few bottles that likely contained pills.

"What are you doing setting up a stall here?" Yang Kai walked over and asked. He remembered Zheng Yuan telling him that Su Mu had issued a strict order for their group to focus on training.

"I just broke through," Li Yuntian explained. "Young Master Su told me to come out, clear my mind, and stabilize my realm. A few of the brothers need some things to help with their cultivation, so I figured I'd come here and try my luck."

"I see." Yang Kai looked Li Yuntian over carefully and noticed that he did seem a bit stronger than before. He had probably broken through to Body Tempering Stage Eight.

"What about you, Senior Brother? What brings you here?" Li Yuntian asked curiously.

"Just picking up a few things."

"What do you need? Take a look at what I've got — if there's anything you want, just help yourself." Li Yuntian gestured at his wares with a generous flourish.

"Seeds of yang-attribute spirit herbs and medicines. Do you have any?"

Li Yuntian shook his head. "Don't have any of those. And as far as I know, hardly anyone here sells seeds."

Generally speaking, seeds weren't worth much, but they were still hard to come by.

"I'm trying my luck too," Yang Kai said with a laugh.

"How about this — I'll put up a sign for you and see if anyone has any to sell. I'll be here for the next couple of days anyway, so if you're lucky, someone might come along with what you need." Li Yuntian offered the suggestion.

"That works. Much obliged, Junior Brother Li."

Li Yuntian immediately tore off a piece of paper, wrote a line on it, and propped it up beside him.

Yang Kai chatted with Li Yuntian a while longer and learned that Su Mu and his crew had been hit hard by their last setback. On top of that, Su Yan's harsh words had been hanging over his head, and the spoiled young master had finally reined himself in. He'd been training day and night and had already broken through to the Kaiyuan Realm.

After parting ways with Li Yuntian, Yang Kai made his way to the same stall where he had bought the Yangyan Stones last time.

When he spotted the familiar stall owner, he let out a quiet breath of relief — he had genuinely worried about not being able to find him.

"Oh? Young master, you're back?" This disciple of the Blood Battle Gang had seen Yang Kai with Hu Meier last time, so he remembered him well. He even used a respectful form of address now. "What can I get you this time?" the stall owner asked.

"Those Three Yang Fruit seeds you gave me last time — do you have any more?" Yang Kai didn't beat around the bush.

The stall owner shook his head. "I'm out. That was the only one I had, and I already gave it to you as a bonus."

"So that's how it is." Yang Kai couldn't help but feel a twinge of disappointment. "Sorry to bother you then."

With that, he turned to leave, planning to search the Black Wind Market more thoroughly. With this many people selling things, surely he'd find what he was looking for if his luck held.

The Blood Battle Gang disciple stared at Yang Kai's retreating back, his expression conflicted for a moment. Then he suddenly called out, "Young master, please wait!"

Yang Kai turned his head. "What is it?"

"Actually, there wasn't just one seed from the Three Yang Fruit tree. There were several at the time, but I only got my hands on one."

Hearing this, Yang Kai's face lit up. "Where are the other seeds?"

"Other people took them. If you really want them, young master, you could try tracking them down."
