When that day came, the Ink Clan would charge straight through, plunging the Three Thousand Worlds into devastation and ruin. For the humans stationed on the Ink Battlefield, any means capable of changing the status quo would be a tremendous boon—let alone the hope of a full-scale expedition that the Ink Expulsion Ships had already given them.
If a true expedition could be launched and the Ink Clan thoroughly eradicated, the age-old predicament facing the Blessed Lands and Great Desolations since time immemorial would finally be broken.
However, an expedition was a grand undertaking that would benefit countless generations, one that would have to be planned methodically over time.
The many Eighth-Order cultivators at Biluo Pass had already reached their decision: they would commission the crafting of ten sets of Void Yin-Yang Mirrors, to be used for relocating the Universe Worlds from various resource-rich territories.
However, this matter still required Yang Kai's full cooperation. The Void Yin-Yang Mirror was his invention, and no one understood the intricacies of this Artifact better than he did.
First, Yang Kai collected the eight formation components of the Void Yin Mirror. Then he returned to Daybreak to retrieve the eight formation components of the Yang Mirror. Finally, he activated the Universe Art and teleported back inside the Pass.
Biluo Pass had already made all the necessary preparations. The War Supply Hall had opened its doors to a generous supply of resources, and numerous Artifact Refining Masters led by Dongguo Anping of the Divine Cauldron Heaven had gathered in assembly, all awaiting Yang Kai's return to oversee the crafting.
Before long, Yang Kai and the assembled Artifact Refining Masters threw themselves into the task of forging the Void Yin-Yang Mirrors. Back in the Black Prison, the original set had been crafted by Yang Kai alone and was far from perfected—it had only been refined into a passable work of quality after he later troubled a master to temper it properly.
Now, with all of Biluo Pass's Artifact Refining Masters assembled together, using Yang Kai's Void Yin-Yang Mirror as a blueprint, the collision of various ingenious ideas proved a tremendous help in improving the design.
With massive quantities of resources poured in, the first set of Void Yin-Yang Mirrors was successfully forged in barely a single month.
Ding Yao personally took this set of Void Yin-Yang Mirrors to Base One for testing. Base One had long since been captured by the humans and was currently being organized for resource extraction.
A mere three days later, a Universe World suddenly materialized outside Biluo Pass—one that Ding Yao had clearly relocated from Base One.
The results of this trial proved that the Void Yin-Yang Mirrors forged at Biluo Pass were indeed functional, charting a new path for resource extraction across all human strongholds.
With their usefulness confirmed, mass production naturally began within the Pass. According to the plans of the various Legion Commanders, a full ten sets of Void Yin-Yang Mirrors were to be produced.
At the same time, the Great Spatial Formation within the Pass was activated. Jade slips inscribed with the crafting methods and activation techniques of the Void Yin-Yang Mirrors were transmitted through the formation to every human stronghold across the battlefield.
Soon, strongholds one after another received the transmissions from Biluo Pass. Upon learning of the Void Yin-Yang Mirror's marvelous properties and effects, every human stronghold was overcome with joy and immediately set about forging their own.
While Biluo Pass was busy producing more Void Yin-Yang Mirrors, the Dawn team had assembled aboard Daybreak, hovering outside a Universe World. Feng Ying stood on the deck, and she could just make out Yang Kai's busy figure working beyond the perimeter of the Universe World.
Now that the Void Yin-Yang Mirrors were already in mass production, there was no longer any need for Dawn to toil away at extraction. All Yang Kai had to do was relocate the Universe Worlds in this region back to Biluo Pass, and the soldiers inside would mine them clean.
This way, the Dawn team members could finally enjoy some rest.
That didn't mean they had nothing to do, however. With Yang Kai now setting about relocating the Universe Worlds in this resource territory, Dawn would need to accompany him closely, providing protection and vigilance in case any scattered Ink Clan stragglers launched a sneak attack. Yang Kai was immensely powerful and bore the Heaven and Earth Spring, so he feared no corruption from the Ink Force. If any foolish Ink Clan members came looking for trouble with him, they would simply never return.
But the formation components he laid down to relocate the Universe Worlds still needed someone to keep watch over them.
If the Ink Clan stole them away, they might well crack the secrets of the Void Yin-Yang Mirror. If the Ink Clan obtained mirrors of their own, it would spell disaster for the humans. This matter had to be guarded against with the utmost vigilance.
With the aid of Biluo Pass's Ink Expulsion Ships and Daybreak's Universe Formation, Yang Kai could shuttle back and forth between the two locations with ease, and the relocation of the Universe Worlds progressed at a remarkable pace.
In barely another month, the dozens of Universe Worlds that had originally been assigned to the Dawn team's sector had all vanished, every last one shipped back outside Biluo Pass.
Now, the more than twenty thousand soldiers garrisoned at Biluo Pass had practically all mobilized, every single one of them working at a feverish pace to extract resources.
One Universe World after another was broken apart, and the myriad resources stored within were unearthed. The stockpiles in the War Supply Hall grew larger with each passing day.
