Yang Kai placed his large hand on Yu Rumeng's shoulder, drew her behind him, and slowly shook his head, indicating he was fine.
However, under that finger strike, both his eyes burned with heat as though they'd been set ablaze. In the next instant, his left eye transformed into a golden vertical pupil, while his right eye turned pitch black.
At first glance, the right eye appeared as though it had been inked over, but this was different from inking — it was simply a secret technique.
"The World Annihilating Demon Eye, the Purgatory Black Pupil!" Mo Sha Divine Lord nodded slightly, rose to his feet, and clasped his hands behind his back as he walked step by step to stand before Yang Kai. He examined both of his eyes carefully, and only after confirming what he saw did he narrow his gaze and ask, "Was Ti Zheng killed by you?"
Immediately after asking, he shook his head and corrected himself: "No, that doesn't add up. Ti Zheng's cultivation was passable enough, but he never practiced either of these two eye techniques.
