Chapter 38 Hu Meier The girl's age was about the same as Su Mu and the others; even if she was a bit older, it wasn't by much. Yet when she walked, she swayed with a three-step bend, exuding myriad charms, her chest heaving wildly, making onlookers dizzy.

Though young, she already had a hint of a mature woman's allure, though not fully developed, it seemed somewhat unnatural.

“Hu Meier!” Upon seeing the girl, Su Mu's expression shifted involuntarily; his eyes darted over her, and he gulped.

Su Mu was like that, and Li Yuntian and the others were even worse.

Their eyes clung to her like leeches, lingering on her lovely figure, their breathing growing heavy, displaying all sorts of ugly behavior. Though jianghu youths are unrestrained, a girl dressed like her is exceedingly rare, especially since she is only fifteen or sixteen, with tender skin and flesh, her bodily allure immense.

Li Yuntian and the others, in the prime of youth with vigorous blood, upon seeing such a stimulating scene, could only imagine their feelings.

The lecherous gazes of the Lingxiao Pavilion disciples not only didn't annoy Hu Meier; she seemed to enjoy it, covering her mouth with a hand and giggling: “So you know my older brother, Su?”

Su Mu quickly coughed, forcing himself to look away, his face slightly red: “Of course I know her.”

Cheng Shaofeng was the leader of the Body Tempering Realm disciples of the Wind and Rain Tower, while this Hu Meier was the leader of the Body Tempering Realm disciples of the Blood Battle Gang; her status was extraordinary, being the daughter of the Blood Battle Gang's chief.

However, her reputation had never been good; the Gang's chief, Hu Man, paid her no mind, letting her stir up trouble outside. Though young, she had countless followers.

I don't know why she today got mixed up with Cheng Shaofeng—could it be that he too has become her lover?

Thinking of this, Su Mu felt both envy and satisfaction: envy for Cheng Shaofeng's fortune, satisfaction that he had been tamed by a woman.

With that thought, a strange smile crept onto Su Mu's face; looking at Cheng Shaofeng, his gaze turned slightly contemptuous.

That look made Cheng Shaofeng uncomfortable, and to make matters worse, the Lingxiao Pavilion disciples' eyes still roved over Hu Meier, making him even more displeased. He stepped forward a few paces, blocking her path and cutting off the disciples' lecherous stares.

This seemingly casual gesture caused Hu Meier to purse her lips and smile lightly.

“Su Mu, tell your people to step aside.” Cheng Shaofeng's face darkened, too lazy for pleasantries.

Su Mu gave a hollow chuckle: “The road is wide; each goes his own way. Are we blocking you?”

“Yes!” Cheng Shaofeng's expression grew even gloomier.

“What if I don’t?” Su Mu retorted, they'd had grudges for days, each knowing the other's tactics—Su Mu had no fear of him.

“Cheng brother, Su brother standing here isn’t a problem; we can take a detour, nobody will blame you.” Hu Meier interjected, seemingly mediating but actually fanning the flames.

Su Mu silently cursed the wench; her thoughts were indeed venomous. As a member of the Blood Battle Gang, she naturally wanted Lingxiao Pavilion and the Wind and Rain Tower to destroy each other.

Hearing Hu Meier's words, Cheng Shaofeng's hesitant resolve hardened at once, and he sneered: “If you don’t scram, you’ll regret it.”

Intent on showing off in front of Hu Meier, Cheng Shaofeng would not yield at this moment.

Hu Meier's lips curled in a smile; she regarded the two with interest, then stepped back a few paces without leaving a trace.

“If you’ve got the guts, try it!” Su Mu sneered at Cheng Shaofeng, while Li Yuntian and the others stepped forward in unison, standing behind him.
